     [Third Person's Pov]

Rome looked to Ms.Percy before turning to glance at Elizabeth and then again at her and the young woman, "I'm not sure. But no, Ms.Percy, I haven't deceived her."

Ms.Percy stared at Rome before smiling at Elizabeth. Her smile complemented her face like a marvelous pearl necklace would a neck. "Would you like to dance with my girls then? It may look complicated, but it's merely a pattern created to look difficult." She grinned, pointing grandly to the women. She'd seen Elizabeth peeking and prided herself on her dancers, they were her joy's.

Rome silently cursed the woman. She was like a second mother to him but she could be more mischievous than an imp. She only wanted Rome's reaction, "Ms.Percy, it's rather rude to assume she'd like to dance with your 'girls' when we've just arrived." He paused with a sigh, "Unless she would-Elizabeth, would you like to dance with them? If you don't want to, Granny won't make you. She's quite pleasant once she sits down for tea."

Ms.Percy looked towards Romulus with a grimace before squinting her eyes. She could faintly remember the days when she'd looked and been younger than Rome. He only now called her Granny to piss her off and clearly it was working but she wouldn't deny a nice cup of tea would be nice for her dry throat. Especially considering how busy the entire night had been, vampires and blood whores piling left and right, she'd mistaken the young woman for one. She certainly wasn't too sore on the eyes to be one.

"I would but I wouldn't want to invade." Elizabeth chuckled as if she was nervous but Ms.Percy quickly shook her head in defiance and called one of her girls, a senior dancer. She'd been working for Ms.Percy for ten years now and her skin still glowed as radiantly as it had when she'd first stepped foot into the joint.

"Charley dear, c'mere." Ms.Percy called her over, pointing to Elizabeth, "Get this young one into a change of clothes and get her on the floor."

"Yes ma'am. Come with me, I promise you'll like it." She smiled gracefully at Elizabeth, guiding the excited woman into the fitting room.

Romulus looked at Ms.Percy, "I hope you know, I'm not paying for that."

"Oh, you don't have to, just think of it as my little treat to her. She doesn't have much longer, does she?"

"How could you tell?" Rome asked, taking a seat in one of the leather recliners. He admired the feeling of it-it felt like the one he'd owned before the house fire, "Is it so easy?"

"No, if I wasn't paying attention, I definitely would have missed it-after so many deaths, it becomes easy to tell. How long have you known the girl?"

"A few months. Just started talking I s'pose." He muttered, becoming lost in thought, "How's Lucinda doing?"

"Lucinda and Jared are doing alright. They ended up having twins but I think they might split. She's going through postpartum right now and he's just-" Eleanor made a hand motion, "-the boy isn't helping her. I was thinking of calling you to help her but I didn't know you were in town..which reminds me, why are you in town, Romulus?" Ms.Percy made herself comfortable on the couch she reclined on.

"Her." He motioned his head in the direction that Charlie and Elizabeth headed in.

"Oh dear." Ms.Percy sighed, "Romulus, I adore you dear, but each time you do this, it only hurts you in the end. I pity you for that big heart of yours. Is there anything I can do?"

"You and Uncle Dimitri both.. No, there isn't anything. Just be kind to Elizabeth, she's naive but as far as I know, she's quite sweet. She doesn't know about this place and she doesn't know about Vampires, Blood Whores, Blood Servants, nothing."

"Ah. Makes sense, if she had, she would've been on her guard in her condition. Perhaps there is something I can do." Ms.Percy smiled and tucked a curled strand of greying dark brown hair behind her ear, "Does she like Chamomile Tea?"
