Reuben paced the halls with his hands behind his back before he met with Caleb Storren, a nonchalant expression on his face. He handed the man a letter and with a sigh, he informed him of what was to come.

"You were right. I don't know why you steered Romulus this way and I don't have any idea as to why you would purposely fabricate love but I do know this. We have our own boundaries and I will cross my own to kill you if needed. Your sister, Elizabeth. For months I knew her and she only displayed utter kindness towards me. This town is filled with vampires and I fear that if you keep walking this path, Romulus will pass his curse onto you and your family."

"I don't have to explain myself to you, Reuben. I know her better than any of you do-I know her patterns, her habits and I know her reactions. It's for the greater cause to get rid of him and Dimitri Salvotch. It's why you've given me this contact, correct?" Caleb asked, unrolling the letter that proved to be his point: it was a contract. And he was right.

Reuben stayed quiet for a half minute, "I am only doing as I am instructed, just-when you see Elizabeth, give this to her."

"I've heard it all from you, haven't I?" Caleb scoffed-Rueben couldn't actually believe that Caleb of all people could go to see Elizabeth and endanger her further.

"No. There's one more thing. Make sure you go after Romulus first. And don't miss." Romulus wasn't a very old vampire but he'd been around for some time now and it gave him his advantages. Connections. Information.

"I know about the Queen's assassination. You don't have to warn me."

"That's not what I'm warning you about." Reuben answered, taking his leave strictly then. He hoped Fred's absence didn't hurt Elizabeth's absence. He truly thought of her as kin though he couldn't understand how the she and Caleb were related.

    The two were so different.

Romulus sighed as he looked at the pamphlet in Ms.Percy's bar before taking a sip of gin. He glanced at Eleanor before looking back at the pamphlet. "You think he'll help us?"

"Oh, I think he'd understand. It's his sister, why wouldn't he help her out of the Council's bird cage? You know-" She indulged herself in sparkling water, "why wouldn't he help the very vampire that almost lost control and almost turned his sister into the one thing he hates more than his own father that led him into the career that he despises more than-oh that's right-you. Romulus-don't you see how reckless you're being?"

"I know exactly how reckless I'm being, Granny." Romulus sighed before he put his glass down, "I just don't know what I'm going to end up doing. With all of this. There are very few records of anyone getting out of the committee and the ones that do.." Romulus didn't finish his sentence but he didn't need to. They both knew what he'd intended to say, The ones that do don't make it.

It was no secret that whoever escaped from the committee never escaped it for long because no matter the amount of attempts or people who'd escaped, they were all eventually hunted down and slaughtered along with everyone in the vicinity. Escape was only temporary.

Elizabeth stepped into the light. She was dressed in a gown that went to the soles of her feet and she felt dressed like a doll. The corset they'd forced her to wear accentuated her features and hugged her hourglass nicely but it dug into her sides and gave her a stomach ache.

The gown had multiple layers of fabric and tons of frilly designs that led down to the bottom of the dress. The upper half of the gown, above the corset was rather thin. It only held up to below her shoulders and she could see her breasts accentuated in it-the fabric above the corset was merely two inches long and if she'd been able to choose-she would've chosen something warmer for winter. But that wasn't up to her anymore.

The Royal Family owned Elizabeth and through domination, they could make her do anything they so wanted. Apparently any Royal could use Domination-it was an ancient technique to subdue prey and they could do nothing to prevent it.

Hell really did live on Earth and now she was ready to step in knee-deep.
