"Ah, R-Rome!" Elizabeth's eyes widened before Rome's hands covered her own as she squeezed them as tight as she could. There was a dull pain on her collarbone but it felt like it was spreading everywhere everchanging into this ecstasy like-feeling just like the last he'd taken her blood. Last time, it wasn't this intense but this time felt like hell in it's own damn heaven.

It was both better and worse than anything she'd ever experienced in her life and she could hear Rome panting, his lips and grip tightening over her body.

He wasn't drinking her blood in any quick manner, instead choosing to slowly do it. It would give the effects on her that they both wanted and Elizabeth's moans proved his theory. Slowly, he stopped before leaning up to her neck to kiss along her veins and behind her ear, plunging himself deeper into her as he did choosing to look into Elizabeth's green eyes as he did with a smile.

Once Elizabeth got out of the shower and before she got dressed, Romulus stopped her. He sat on their bed and turned to look at her.

"There's something I want to do before I bring you there." He said, drawing in a breath, "It's considered taboo but if both parties are willing, I can convince Dimitri to let it slide with the council." He had a small white cloth in his hands and as he spoke, he unwrapped it.

"What is it?" Elizabeth asked, feeling horribly dizzy. She'd barely been able to stand in the shower and now sitting like this had proven to be an impossible task-it was extremely painful to do so but it was what she'd expected. She tried her best not to show it.

"I would like to give you some of my blood. Not enough to turn you into a vampire and not enough to make you go mad but enough to heal you and your ailments. If I do this, you won't be sick anymore. At all." Romulus became quiet but continued, "It will ward off all vampires except for me. Your blood would no longer smell pleasant to anyone but me. It's considered taboo because you will smell like a vampire to every other person out there but you will still be a human because my blood will be in your bloodstream but I promise you: there are no diseases that come with it."

Elizabeth thought about it, "Will I ever see you again?" As Elizabeth sat on the bed, she smoothed out the sheets before looking at Rome with an uneasy expression.

"Yes." Romulus refused to aknowledge anything other than that answer. He would tend to his duties as a Vampiric Citizen but aside from that-he would refuse.

"Is there any way for us to get out of this?"

"Not unless you become important to the council in some way." He whispered.

"Then I will." Elizabeth answered confidently, "I will become useful and important and I will get out of that damn place."

The only few ways of aiding the council were few but most impossible and if Elizabeth got out, she would be one of the first. The Council and the Royals made the system and corrupted it. If they did manage to need someone, it would be of their own accord and they wouldn't let them go. It would be okay if sometime after Elizabeth got there, they made a run for it. At least they would have turned her in but they would nevertheless be on the run.

Elizabeth's brother Caleb, was a vampire hunter and with it, one of their only hopes. They and the council had their own set of rules and boundaries and they didn't cross them and hopefully, they could get Elizabeth out that way but for it to work, Caleb would have to be cooperative with Rome which was unlikely to happen. They were from two separate worlds but so had been Elizabeth and him before now-now Elizabeth was being whirled into his world.

But unlike Rome and Elizabeth, people like Caleb hunted people like Rome. They were not on the same side and if Caleb was who they said he was, he would be very difficult to get along with. Though hopefully he would come to understand why now they would need to stick together. Even if Romulus had to use Domination-he would.
