And that is how you wound up spending a portion of your morning staking out The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The letters are on display there.

Riley takes a seat on a bench and looks like he is just doing the crossword.

You go to a food truck a ways down, but close enough you can still see what's going on. You order your favorite breakfast sandwich and a drink. Both are made just the way you like them, with any substitutions happily made.

You stand to the side of the truck, your food is being prepared. From what you can tell a school group is on a field trip to the institute.

While waiting for a possible signal from Riley, you remember how you got here.

The van was left at Patrick's and you took, well, it was more of borrowed, his Cadillac DeVille. Ben and Abigail went clothes shopping so they wouldn't be making a bigger target of themselves, by going around in formal wear.

A schoolboy, in a uniform, runs from the building to Riley. They talk a bit, then Riley hands him a Dollar Bill. The boy runs back into the building.

You sly dog. You think, Having a kid get the puzzle pieces.  You send a text to William a recap of your new information, not skimping on the details.

You would have done it a little bit differently. It would have involved you trying to look like a tourist. But it wouldn't have involved a kid.

You get your food and watch Riley from a distance. You start eating your breakfast, leaning your back against an Oak tree. If it wouldn't draw so much attention, you would rather have your lunch sitting in the tree.

The child comes back multiple times and Riley pays him every time.

You finish your breakfast and toss your trash in the garbage bin. You still keep your distance, feigning interest in your phone. William hadn't sent you back a text right then, so all you just open a news app and mindlessly scroll through your favorite section. (If current events aren't your thing, you scroll through the funnies or something else to your liking. Some news apps have their version of a free-to-play games section.)

You glance over at Riley. He's starting to look a bit twitchy.

Time to go.  You think, pocketing your phone. You casually walk over to Riley and duck by some close bushes. They're the solid-looking kind, so, unfortunately, you can't take cover.

"Alright, where did that stupid phone go?" You ask aloud, feeling around underneath the bush.

Riley looks in your direction. The child is still yet to return.

"Problem miss?" He asks, in a way that would suggest you had just met.

"Just dropped my cell," you hiss a mild swear then say, "This is what I get for getting a mulch-colored phone case."

"Oh. Sorry about your phone. Hope you find it," He says, turning back to the newspaper. "Wonder what's taking him so long?"

You switch on your Eagle Vision and glance up the marble steps.

"Shit," you hiss.

Riley jumps slightly. "See something?" He whispers.

"Ian. Top of the stairs. Don't think he sees us. We need to go."

Riley nods, folding his newspaper.

You wait a few seconds for him to leave, then you speed walk after him.

You switch off your Eagle Vision and slip into a walking crowd of adults.

You follow Riley at a distance, but you are sure to always keep him in sight.
