Chapter 11

After going up the newly discovered stairs, the exit comes out right beside the entrance hatch.

Ben has to break the hatch open. You wore your hood crawling through the connecting tunnel.

At the same time you bust through the hatch, a custodian is eyeing the skeleton and busted coffin.

He jumps, biting back a startled scream.

As soon as you're through, you remove your hood. Poor guy. Probably thought the zombie apocalypse had started. You think, helping Riley step down.

Ben brushes some dust from his hair and asks the still-shaking custodian, "Can I borrow your phone?"

While you wait for the F.B.I. to show, you go to the bathroom and wash your hands and face. If I wind up getting my mug shot taken, I at least want to not look half dead.  You think, also wetting your now clean hands, and attempting to style your hair.

When you get back to the Sanctuary, you, Abigail, Riley, and Patrick take a seat on a pew. Behind you are F.B.I. agents.

You had removed your hood by the time the agents had gotten there.

While Ben and Agent Sandusky speak up at the Alter, You switch on your Eagle Vision and take a look at Agent Sandusky's ring.

It's emboldened with the symbol of the Freemasons.

But you see something right above the ring's face.

It looks like a tattoo, hiding behind the ring, even though part of it's visible.

Agent Sandusky adjusts the ring like it was all of a sudden too tight.

Now you see it better. He does have a tattoo.

In black ink, is the mark of the Assassins. You should know, you have that same tattoo. You got it when you became a full-fledged Assassin.  Like Sandusky you keep it hidden through various means and you do have a favorite method.

You switch off your Eagle Vision. We have a man on the inside.  You think with a smile, remembering William's phone call. So the guy that had been following us, was a sibling.

"What's so funny?" Riley whispers.

Oh right, he doesn't know how to control his Eagle Vision.

"Just has a thought." You lie, pretty sure if you out Sandusky as a sibling, you'd never hear the end of it.

"Oh?"

"Riley Poole, if you ever take me treasure hunting again, it had better be at the Antique Mall."

Riley is stunned but then it changes to laughter.

You start laughing too, simply because you made him laugh.

"Will you two grow up?!" Abigail says, her voice sounding like a mother. "We're all in very serious trouble."

"She does have a point," Patrick says, "Now's not a good time to be making a scene."

Agent Sandusky and Ben are looking in your direction.

"Is there something you'd like to share with the class?" Ben asks.

"I had just said to Riley that if he took me treasure hunting ever again, it had better be at an Antique Mall." You explain.

Sandusky nods and chuckles,  "You never know what you'd find at an Antique Mall."
