You keep running, taking turns down side streets, through an open-aired market, along more rooftops. Trying anything to keep ahead and keep the guy chasing you, on your tail, instead of going after Ben.
After a while of running, you lose him in a crowd of people.
You look around trying to get your berings. Then you see it. You see Abigail trip, and the real Declaration of Independence fall in the street!
You run to help her.
She runs out to grab the document. And winds up staring down a speeding truck.
Riley grabs her in time, shoving both of them to the curb and out of the way.
You run to them. "Everyone ok?" You ask, keeping your eyes on the document.
It wobbles from the traffic, then you see a man pick it up.
Then you realize it. It's Ian.
Ian is now holding the Declaration of Independence.
You're about to draw your Glock when you happen to look just past him.
Ben is in handcuffs. He's been arrested by the F.B.I.
You let Ian go instead of trying to shoot him. The last thing you need is a gun battle in the middle of the street.
You take a deep breath as he walks away. Then you call William this time instead of texting.
He picks up on the first ring.
"(Y/N)?" He asks.
"Boss, I might have fucky wuckyed up, just a teeny tiny bit." You say, trying to keep your voice down. You shield your mouth with your hand in case of Templar servillace.
"What's going on?"
You then launch into an explanation of what you found at Independence Hall, the chasing, and Ben getting arrested by the F.B.I.
Finally, William says, "Normally I'd say good job, you got a Templar arrested. But, in this instance, Ben is shaping up to not be viewed as a Templar," there's a pause then he says, "You're in luck. We do have a person inside the F.B.I. handling this case. Stay with Abigail and Riley, and Ben should get back to you."
"And if not, sir?" You ask.
"Then take what clues you and them already have, and Find. That. Treasure." He says, with emphasis. "We've done some digging and a First Civilization artifact just might be in the treasure."
"Yes sir. Right away sir." You say snapping to attention.
After hanging up, you pocket your phone.
"So what do we do?" Abigail asks.
"I have a sibling handling the case. I'll let them handle it and see how it goes."

This is the part you hate. Waiting around for something to happen...to kill time, You, Abigail, and Riley, shelter at an Internet Cafe. You charge your phone, Abigail orders non-alcoholic drinks for everyone, and Riley does some web searches.
All the while, waiting by the phone, waiting to hear from either your contact, William, or Ben.
You imagine Ben evading the F.B.I. and calling you using the only available pay phone in Philadelphia.
***
After an hour or so of being there, you step over to the restroom, taking your phone and charger with you.
You have to get the code from the person running at the counter to access the restroom.
It's a single-user restroom. Near the ceiling, is a closed ventilation window, that you can tell by the dust, probably hadn't been opened since the cafe opened.
