As day passed by they got more time for each other, it's unusual but they just go with it that's what they want to begin with. Jungwon is still working, overworking to be exact since upcoming projects will happen he need to save money and he has a lot of bills to pay. So tiring.
He's now at his house waiting for 5:30 pm so he could leave and go to his workplace. It's now raining, pleasing in the eyes and ears that made him think...
"I wonder what's riki doing now? he's probably doing tasks again... my baby~" jungwon said while looking at the window
Jungwon has been always and always aware of riki's situation, about riki being the only one inheritor, about riki being forced to what he needs to be... isn't it tiring?
Jungwon knows all of this, when they were teens, when they're new to their relationship... jungwon knows all the consequences he might sound dumb and silly when he made those decisions but he really meant it... despite of riki's father not approved by any love towards his son, they can't even love him to be exact. Jungwon knows all of this, he can sense it the moment they saw them.
Riki is matured for his age but a little fool in communications before, jungwon befriended him at first he doesn't want it but as he felt comfortable, he get to say whatever he wants without being judged, he get to say any stories, he get to show any emotions... and that moment he knows jungwon has a big part of his life.
Same as Jungwon, since the beginning he always know what the consequences is. But... let's say... Love Wins for them. A little silly since they were still teens... but don't you think they were actually aware of everything?
Jungwon had two decisions back then, first is distancing himself from riki to avoid conflicts and second is to show and give riki the love he deserves. AND he chose the second. It might sound selfish for them... for choosing what is dangerous... for choosing what might harm them. But, jungwon's love is on different level, he doesn't want to see the riki he saw when they first met. No emotions in the eyes, not approachable... cold super cold. He knows something is wrong but when they became friends... riki changed.
A foolish decision that jungwon made, he wants riki to receive the care, the love, the attention... every single thing he deserved. That's how he loves him, he fell in love so deep...
but did they really chose the right decision? are they selfish or selfless?
"I'm not regretting any decisions i made..." jungwon said while shaking his head, negative thoughts are filling his mind again.
'I won't regret it... if we'll go back to that time i'll still choose this.' he thought and went out.
"Damn, it's still raining." he said while walking at the side ways, his workplace is near to his place but that store isn't that popular so mostly the customers are the one who lives near to it.
He can now see his workplace, 'Oh i hope this day won't be shit.' he thought and was about to cross roads but his phone rang, it's Kim Sunoo.
"Hello, sunoo-"
"J-jungwon... c...can we meet ?" that's the last thing jungwon heard before heading to the bus waiting area, his friend needs him.
"SUNOO!" jungwon shouts as he saw sunoo looking down, they're at the coffee shop. As soon as sunoo's eyes landed on him he immediately feel hurt, his friend is in pain.
"Jungwon" sunoo said while still looking down and holding jungwon's hand but the moment he looked up jungwon froze at the spot.
"W..why is your cheek swollen?-" jungwon asked in shocked
"I got a fight with dad..."
"W-what? No- your dad never hits you right?" sunoo immediately look away, maybe he has his own secrets too.
"We got a...a big misunderstanding and w..well i deserve this I.. i am just terrified jungwon!" sunoo said and tears starts falling
"What? you don't deserve all of this sunoo!" jungwon shouts while pointing the bruises on sunoo's arms
Sunoo... has been always a victim of his father. Physically and mentally, he has been there always abusing him whether words or actions.
This always happen whenever his father is bad mood, drunk and mad. You won't realize because his father is just quiet but strict there are also times sunoo talks back and he'll just be silent, he looks gentle but he is really not. His father is a whole different person when he's mad, he won't show any mercy at all whether you're his son or not.
"Why? how did this happen?... again?" jungwon questioned looking so worried but he won't ask why did he secret this, he's the least person to ask this especially if he himself has also secrets.
"Dad... found out about me having date back the appoint date and realized i didn't attend the date- BUT NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT DONT EVEN THINK OF THAT!" sunoo immediately said while holding jungwon's hand
'How can i not think of that...? when i'm the one who suggested about having date so that your father will not force you again? how can i not think when i'm the one who went to the appoint date?' jungwon thought
"This is all my fault." jungwon said in realization
'All of this. I should've never suggested those and i should've been very careful... i shouldn't have agree if this is the result.'
Wrong decision, perhaps?
'How can i not think properly? how can i rush about decisions? i thought my biggest strength is making decisions? why does it looks like i'm just making the others suffer? first... riki, now... sunoo? I should've just think properly!' he thought while looking away
Jungwon's biggest enemy is himself. He would blame himself at anything, he'll forgot to analyze the situations, he'll look at the negative side... blaming and questioning himself.
"I... i should've think properly! this is all my fault, i'm making a decision that making people around me hurt" jungwon said while hugging sunoo
"Jungwon-ah please this isn't your fault, don't you think i am an grown up already who can think what is right and what is wrong? i just picked the wrong one and i made you suffer too..." sunoo said while looking down
'Fuck! can i at least have some shame? i've been asking him favors yet i give him problems! i'm miserable!' sunoo thought while looking down and crying
"Jungwon... if dad found out that you're the one i sent to the appoint date i don't know what he might do to you... i..i am scared, i'm so terrified for what he can do please jungwon i'm so sorry this is all my fault im sorry!" sunoo said while crying, this is the main point why he called jungwon here. He's scared for jungwon...
"Sunoo! don't worry about me, this is not your fault. Let's treat you first, let's go you can stay on my place." jungwon said and sunoo doesn't have a choice but to agree
Jungwon can still go to his workplace and work but his friend need him. Decide... Options... Decisions... Decided.
'I'll just absent today.' he thought while walking and guiding sunoo who looks so weak right now, for sure his friend needs him.
Every decision has its own reason and lesson.
