17. What to do?

"Sunoo, what are you doing in that bridge at this time?" sunoo immediately look at the window and took a deep breathe

"I was hanging out with Jungwon nothing more." he answered and his father sighed

"I'm scared you might escape-"

"GOD! dad, can't you see i'm here!? i won't leave please. I'm going to be married this year let me at least enjoy my remaining days." sunoo said while looking away, he's not fine with this conversation it irks him.

"Still. You shouldn't just go out like that, don't you pity your dad? i'm sick." his dad said and coughed.

"Dad please, i still know my responsibilities. I will do what you want and enjoy my life for a while, you stay on the house and stop working for awhile and focus on your health. I can't lose you dad, you know." sunoo answered and his father smiled so he just awkwardly smile back.

'I hope he at least stop being so strict.'

"By the way dad.."

"Yes?"

"Do you know some part time job?" he asked and his dad looked at him in confusion

"Are you going to work, young man?"

"No- not me. My friend, Jungwon needs a job. I think it's because he need to save up." sunoo said while looking at his phone, it's showing the picture of him and jungwon.

"You really cherish your friend..." his father said and sunoo nod. 'You know that dad, we've been friends for how many years but you don't like it because you think of him as low person.' he thought and sighed.

"Is your friend dating someone?" his father suddenly asked and sunoo immediately look at him, confused.

"What? he's not that type of person i'm sure he doesn't have any lover." sunoo answered proudly.

"Oh then what did i saw- nevermind. Do your friend cherish and trust you too?" his father asked again that made sunoo laughed, 'what's this question lol?'

"Yes of course." sunoo answered and his father sarcastically laugh, 'friends are useless.'

"I have a job for him."

"What? are you serious dad?" sunoo excitedly asked

"He'll stay by your side basically it's like being assistant. That's all, nothing more." his father said and sunoo can't stop smiling

"WHAT DAD? are you serious? is this true? oh my god i am so happy!" sunoo said and excitedly hug his dad, glad the signal lights is showing red.

"Yeah, i realized you cherish him so much as someone who don't have friend i thought friends are useless but maybe not for you. He will work basically stay beside you and accompany you, i'll pay him." his father said not batting an eye with him.

'I couldn't be more happy. I need to message Jungwon.' he thought and starts typing on his phone.

'I thought dad is that evil, maybe not.' he smiled while looking at his father. He's happy... so happy that he's missing something.

'Jungwon, i found a job for you. Let's talk about it later!' jungwon immediately smiled as he read the message sent by his friend.

'I thought i'll have a hard time finding job, sunoo helps me, i couldn't be more happier. Maybe this is what we feel if someone helps us... i hope i didn't became a burden to him though.' he thought and smiled.
