27. Doomed

"Where's... sunoo?" a familiar voice, very familiar they wished they didn't hear. It was Riki's mom, Mrs. Naileen

"M-mom-" riki starts but his mother cut him off

"I said, where's sunoo?" she asked again, she doesn't look like surprised nor disappointed. Its like she didn't care at all perhaps she already expected this.

"H-he is with Sunghoon..." Jungwon answered and Ms. Naileen left immediately

Are they doomed? is it over for the both of them!?

'FUCK! what am i gonna do!?' jungwon asked himself and run leaving riki alone.

"Sunoo!" it was Mrs. Naileen approaching Sunoo

"Mrs. Naileen?" sunoo asked while wiping his face

"I told you to call me mom" Mrs. Naileen said while smiling

"Where have you been?" she adds

"I just talked with a friend..." sunoo simply said

"Really? Let's go inside the mansion then. A war is about to happen, the men are bragging about their businesses." she said and gently held sunoo's arm, guiding him

"Do you like the colors?" Mrs. Naileen asked while roaming her eyes on the place

"Yeah, i really love the colors of this party-OH JUNGWON!" sunoo trailed off and point at jungwon

"SUNOO!-" jungwon was about to approach him but when he saw Mrs. Naileen he went to the other way

"eh? what's with him? he definitely saw me." sunoo asked but later shrugged it off

"Is everything okay with jungwon?" Mrs. Naileen worriedly asked

"Yes, we just talked earlier. I don't know what's happening." sunoo simply said but he doesn't look like he's making a big deal out of it

"Does your friend have a lover?" Mrs. Naileen said and Sunoo raised his eyebrows, confused.

"Oh come on, many people asked this too."

"Have jungwon mentioned riki even once?"

"Suddenly?" sunoo asked, he didn't expect Mrs. Naileen would ask this

"I'm sorry if this surprised you, this was really sudden but i just want to know." Mrs. Naileen cleared herself

"Actually... I also don't know, they look like they've known each other for a long time but when you think again they don't really look like they have something between them. OH i do hope they're friends so all of us would be friends!" sunoo said and smiled, he looks really clueless.

They both went inside the mansion and stayed there for a while to relax, Mrs. Naileen excused herself later on when he found Riki going upstairs.

"I'm just going to talk with riki for a while." She said and sunoo nod with a smile.

"RIKI! OPEN THIS DOOR, WE HAVE TO TALK!" Mrs. Naileen shouts as she helplessly knock on Riki's room

"Why-" as riki opened the room his mom immediately went inside the room and locked the room, she looks serious and mad.

"Leave that kid alone." Mrs. Naileen strictly said but riki just laughed

"Who?" he asked in a joking manner

"You damn know who i mean!" she said angrily

"Why are you bothering me now? as if it's important to you?"

"RIKI! whatever relationship you both have, stop it now."

"WHY?! WHY ARE Y'ALL SAYING THIS!? stop meddling stay low just how you've always been!" riki shouts as he finally burst out everything he's been holding to

"You don't know, you don't know HOW MUCH I'M VERY SICK OF MY LIFE! how much i wanted to end my life, how y'all made me hate my life BUT there he goes, he stayed beside me! LOVE ME FOR WHO I AM and didn't ask for more. How can you tell me to stop it like it was that easy?!" riki asked, he couldn't hold it back anymore.

He doesn't want someone to be on his side for this situation but respect. Respect for his feelings.

"He was there when i always lost myself, he was the one, the only one to find me!" he said and kneel

"That kid has future waiting for him, i know you don't want your father to stop it." Mrs. Naileen said but riki shook his head

"We've been doing so well by hiding, it just happen that you saw us. We will get through this together. You won't believe me but i can prove it... just give us a little bit time." riki said he looks very desperate

"RIKI WAKE UP! You goddamn know you can't beat your dad. If you truly love that kid you'll want the best for him, his safety!" Mrs. Naileen shout making riki stopped and rethink

"B-but... that was what i did before but he never let go of me. We promised to hold each other's trust." riki said while zoning out

"Both of you are not thinking well for your safety! he's not the only one dying if someone find out, you will also die!"

"It's better, that's what love is all about. You are ready to risk everything." riki starts

"You might still think of me as a young kid who is always hiding on his shadow but not today mom, before I've gone this far i have already thought of that idea 10x. I know what i am doing!" he add but his mother just looked at him blankly while her eyes are watering

'If i have this determination back then, would i still suffer like this today?' she thinks while looking at riki, what have riki said was enough to make her hit realization but it wouldn't stop her

"I'll send him to states for a while, both of you are in danger." She finally said and left without waiting for riki's response.

"Jungwon, where have you been?" sunoo asked in confusion when he saw his friend walking nervously

"H-huh? uh! I was f-finding you!" Jungwon said that made sunoo even confuse

"I saw you earlier you really called me then went to the other way!"

"Oh really? T-that was probably my bad! BY THE WAY how was the conversation with sunghoon?" jungwon asked trying to change the topic

this time Sunoo was the one who was stunned to talk, "Uhm w-we- we were fine! H-he just greeted me!" he said later on while looking away

'Maybe i... should really tell him what's happening?' sunoo thought and was about to talk but they were interrupted by Mrs. Naileen.

"Jungwon we need to talk." as she said those words Jungwon immediately got pale and later on faint, they were both shocked on what happened and immediately place him in the room.

Later when he woke up he found himself on some room with Mr. Nishimura, Riki's father and Mrs. Naileen, Riki's mother.

'Oh fuck! i think i might faint again...'
