Left off: "Skull wait, please hear him out first."
"Hear him out? After everything, he did to you!?" Skull said, still glaring at Half-rim.
When Skull saw Half-rim grab Headphone's hand and ran off with her, he told the others he was going to the bathroom and hurried after them. But with the street being so crowded he lost track of them, till he spotted a flash of blue going into Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe. With very little options he hurried over hoping that it was Headphones and that he wasn't lost again. When he made it into the store there wasn't any sign of her, just a few inklings shopping and the cashier.
"Hey, have you seen a blue inkling with headphones come in here?" Skull asked, the somewhat confused cashier.
"Funny you say that, in fact, a green inkling with glass came in here with a blue inkling with headphones." He answered, then pointed towards the hallway. "They went into the hallway, don't know why probably wanted to talk in private or wanted some alone time."
Skull thanked him and headed towards the hallway, seeing Half-rim and Headphones near the end of the hallway. Skull's hand turned into a fist, the anger he had been trying to contain was starting to crack. After everything that Half-rim put her through, how scared she must have been.
"Skull listen I wasn't in my right mind, I didn't mean to-"
"Half-rim you nearly drowned her and to top it off you tried to get handys with her when you brought her out of the water!" Skull snapped, his fingers digging into plam to keep his anger in.
"He did what!?"
"I did what!?"
A deep blue blush covered Headphone's face while a light green blush covered Half-rim's face.
"I thought I just kissed her, d-did I really?" Half-rim whispered.
"I stopped you before you could do anything," Skull answered.
"Thank you" Half-rim sighed in relief.
"Skull... he didn't mean to do anything." Headphones said while collecting herself "He has powers... but he wasn't himself when he was using them."
"The downsides for my powers are having to be careful around water and avoiding the full moon." then he lowered his gaze "I was outside when I shouldn't have been and because of it... I ended up hurting a friend."
Skull just stood looking between Half-rim and Headphones, he was still mad at Half-rim but he did know the struggles of having powers. Along with a few accidents that happened and his team having to cover for him. He took a deep breath as he unclenched his fists and turned to Headphones.
"Well Headphones you're the victim, what do you think?"
Headphones stayed quiet for a bit, thinking about all that had happened. Half-rim almost drowned her, kissed her, and is now learning that he also tried to get handsy with her. But it did bring her some relief learning that he didn't intentionally hurt her. She looked up at him and then took a deep breath.
"Half-rim... I know you didn't mean to do any of it." she honestly said. "I'm not going to lie, what you did really scared me and you hurt me."
"I know and-"
"But... can you promise me that you'll try to give me a heads up about when you have to stay inside and your team warning me when you do end up getting caught out in the full moon?"
Half-rim smiled with relief.
"I promise and I'll tell my team about what happened, they'll probably be okay about you know my secret. When I first got my powers and tried doing some research one of the warnings I was able to find was don't look at the full moon's gaze. which I found out meant don't look at the full moon or its reflection and don't touch the water when the full moon's out."
