(Nancy's pov) (7 am)
"Mike I'm going to work now make sure Holly gets breakfast I'll be home for a small lunch break today alright!"
I hollered from the front door.
"Alright!"
Mike yelled back.
"And don't forget your band practice is tonight with the guys!"
I yelled before leaving.
(Mike's pov)
"Yep!"
I said knowing she had already left. I walked to Holly's room to wake her up for breakfast. I opened the door and softly called her name before gently shaking her awake.
"Morning Mike!"
Holly said with a smile looking happy to see me.
"morning Holly"
I said faking a smile, I do that quite often now. I fake being ok just for the convenience of others, while on the inside I'm screaming. I'm in pain but at the same time it's all numb and blurry but there are slim moments where I'm happy for an hour or so but it eventually fades into the numb pain again.
"Mikey can we have waffles for breakfast?"
Holly asked.
"Sure we can you set up the table and I'll make them alright,"
I said walking to the freezer.
"Okay!"
Holly said as she went to go get the place mats for the table.
(El's pov)
"Will can you help me unpack the living room decorations?"
I asked.
"Sure, give me a second to finish this box for my room."
Will replied.

(Time skip to 12:00 pm)
(El's pov)
"Why don't you and Will go greet the neighbours and introduce yourselves?, I met Mr Wheeler and he said he has a son your age and a daughter who is 19 and another daughter who is 6."
Joyce asked.
"Sure mom we'll go over and say hello."
I replied.
"WILL GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE WE ARE GOING TO MEET THE NEIGHBOURS!!!!!"
I screamed startling my mother in the process.
"Do we have to!"
Will hollered back.
"Yes!"
I replied.
"Fine let me get my shoes!"
He yelled before coming downstairs to the main level of the house. We walked outside and went to the house to the left of us that was the wheelers residence.
(Mike's pov)
"Ready or not here I come Holly"
I said as I looked for the 6 year old. Just as he went to go check for Holly the door bell rang.
"I'll be right there"
I said making my way to the door.
I opened the door to see two people around my age, there was a boy and a girl. The boy had brown hair he was the around 5'7"with brown eyes and had a bowl cut. The girl was pretty, with light brown short curly hair, bright hazel eyes, She was almost my height too around 5'6" and I'm 5'8"
"Hi! I'm El and this is Will my twin brother we just moved in next door yesterday and we thought we'd introduce ourselves."
The brunette greeted.
"Hey I'm Michael or Mike for short, would you guys like to come in?"
I asked the pair.
"We can't now but if you would like to hang out sometime we are just in the house next door."
El explained.
(El's pov)
We were greeted at the door by a boy our age and god he was quite attractive, raven black curly hair, dark freckles scattered all over his face arms and neck, he was tall as well. He looked to be around 5'8" compared to my 5'6" stature. We were quite close in height.
"Oh that's alright, how about I bring my sisters over tonight to meet your family?"
Mike offered with a smile.
"Sure that would be wonderful come around 8, oh and here is our numbers as well."
"Okay thanks"
The raven haired boy said with another smile.
"MIKEY! You didn't come find me"
Holly said with a pout.
"Oh I'm sorry Holly"
Mike said as he picked Holly up and rested her on his hip. God why is it attractive when they're good with kids.
I thought to myself.
"Mikey who are these people?"
Holly asked before tucking her head into Mike's neck.
"These are the new neighbours"
He said with a smile.
"Oh okay"
Holly said before rubbing at her eyes.
"Are you tired?"
Mike asked the small girl.
"No"
Holly replied.
"I think you need a nap miss Holly"
Mike said with a chuckle.
"Well it was nice meeting you two this little one needs a nap, so I'll see you guys again soon bye."
Mike said before closing the door.
Me and Will were walking up the driveway and I couldn't stop thinking about him. While I was thinking about his features I couldn't help but remember he was wearing a hoodie in the middle of summer and how he looked so tired. The poor thing looked like death he was so pale and skinny he looked like he hardly ever ate anything.
But I could be wrong he could just be really thin.
(Mike's pov)
"No Mikey I don't wanna have a nap"
Holly whined.
"Holly you were up late last night and you need to have a nap your tired. I'll lay down with you."
I said trying to convince her.
"Fine."
Holly replied. Mike took Holly upstairs. Got her some more comfortable clothes on before tucking Holly into her bed.
"We can get up in an hour okay."
I said to Holly as I laid beside her bed on the floor with my blanket and pillow.

(Time skip to 1:00 pm)
Holly was still asleep so I quietly got up and went to my room and decided to change my outfit. I looked through my closet and pulled out a dark purple hoodie and some black jeans and a black T-shirt, and my silver locket along with some black converse. It was my mothers locket and I wear it almost all the time. Then I sat down on my bed and looked outside before falling asleep once more.
(Holly's pov)
I woke up from a nightmare and to Mike not there on the floor so I got out of bed and went to his bedroom. I slowly opened the door to see a sleeping Mikey. I went back to my room momentarily to grab my blankey. Then went back to his room closing the door behind me. Before climbing onto his bed and falling asleep.

(Time skip to 1:00 pm) (Nancy's pov)
"Hey guys sorry I'm an hour late I decided to get a few more things done before my lunch break."
I said as I walked through the door. The house was very quiet I went to the basement no one was there, then I checked holly's room no one was there either. Then I checked Mikes room and saw them both asleep on Mike's bed.
This is adorable, I thought to myself.

(Time skip to 8:00 pm) (Nancy's pov)
"Mike, Holly are you two ready come on we have to go to the neighbours house for dinner!!!"
I yelled from the living room.
"Okay!"
Mike yelled back.
"Coming!"
Yelled Holly. Mike and Holly came down stairs put on their shoes then bolted right out the door. I quickly followed behind them. Holly went up to the door excitedly and knocked on the door. Just a few seconds after an older boy opened the door and introduced himself.

(Johnathan's pov)
"Hello there you must be the new neighbours, I'm Johnathan will and El's older brother. And you must be Mike Holly and sorry I haven't heard of you yet, and you are?"
I asked.
"Oh sorry I'm Nancy Mike and Hollys older sister."
Nancy replied.
"Oh sorry where are my manners come on in."
I said. After talking and getting to know each other and eating dinner alas it was time for them to go.
"We should get together this weekend!"
Will said to Mike and El.
"Yes we should!"
El agreed.
"I'll see if I'm busy."
Mike replied. The poor boy looked depressed or stressed out or something he was so scrawny and he didn't eat much at dinner. And he never took off his hoodie once, it's odd considering it's summer but to each their own I guess.
"Bye Johnathan it was nice to meet you"
Nancy said with a simile. After they left I sat on the couch I couldn't stop thinking about Nancy she was so pretty and nice.
God I was starting to have a crush.
