In this au Mike has pretty messed mental health (I won't get into detail in the description But I'll add trigger warnings when necessary) his mom Karen passed away in a car crash when Mike was 10. It hurt everyone in the family but it hurt Mike the most. Nancy was heartbroken but her brother needed her and their dad was barely around anymore, he was either at the bar or at work and that's how he spent his days before Karen passed. Nancy was angry with him but she couldn't do much about it. Mike was not doing well at all and she wasn't sure how to help. He pushed everyone away his friends, Ted, even her 
    And Holly. The story's current timeline Mike is now 15, Nancy is 19 and Holly is going to be 6. El hopper who becomes their neighbour in the house next to them tries to befriend Mike. She lives with her mother and father Jim and Joyce and her two brothers Will and Johnathan.
    (El and Will are twins in this AU) (EL STILL HAS POWERS IN THIS STORY WILL DOES NOT)
    (THIS IS A MODERN AU!!)
