Audrey's POV

I went home that night and cried myself to sleep, I really meant when I said I loved Billie, I thought she was loyal and a person I could trust, but I was wrong. Now I'm here with mascara and eyeliner dramatically running down my face as If it wasn't already fucked up from being fucked, which I don't wanna be reminded of but I can't get it out of my head. Billie cheated on me and I loved her. After about 30 minutes of crying I gathered myself and went into the bathroom to clean off all my runny makeup. I brushed my teeth and did my nightly routine when I noticed the necklace on my neck that Billie gave me that had my name on it. It brings me memories back to our date and that we had an amazing time, and I wore it when I lost my virginity to her. I couldn't find the urge in me to take it off so I sighed and left the bathroom while turning off the lights.

A week later

I've been ignoring Billie, and didn't respond to any messages she's sent I'd just end up deleting them, I couldn't get myself to block her either so I finally decided to call her to meet up somewhere. Somewhere nice and quiet near the water. A lake, I always come here when I need a life away from people and my phone and to just breathe and embrace nature. It's quiet and nobody comes out here so we could have a simple but private conversation.
I saw her car pull up and she turned off the engine before getting out. She was wearing some baggy Jeans and a white tee, she had dark circles under her eyes and looked like she hadn't slept for days. To be honest I haven't either.

"Hi" she said while putting her hands in her deep pockets

"Hi" I walked up to her car and sat on the outside of it, she did the same but knew to leave a distance

"So um I wanna apologize because I know I fucked up, and I fucked up bad and ruined us, Elliot's mother we have always been on and off and she-"

"That's not an excuse to cheat on me, If you weren't over your ex you could've told me you didn't want to be with me and I would've been fine with it, but you made me get my hopes up and I confessed that I loved you not knowing you didn't feel the same"

"But Audrey I do love you"

"God Billie you're such a liar"

"But I'm not lying"

"Look this relationship is over Billie I'm sorry, I can't be with someone who makes me question their loyalty" I took off my necklace and put it in her hand looking straight into her beautiful blue eyes, she leaned in connecting her lips to mine and for some reason I couldn't resist, maybe I could just feel her lips one last time. After pulling away to catch our breathes I cupped her cheeks and kissed her lips one last time then played with her hair.

"I'm gonna go now"

"Let me drive you home"

"No it's okay I'll walk" I got off her car then started walking when a couple of raindrops curse you weather

"Actually is that ride offer still up?"

"Hop in"

"Can we go back to the ways things were between us before we started dating?" I asked Billie

"Just you're my student and I'm your teacher?"

"No you stupid just friends"

"We were friends?"

"Were we not?"

"I thought I was just being nice"

"Then let's be friends dumbass" I grabbed her hand and held it

"Okay cool"

"Sooo what's Elliot's mom like?"

"Short and bitchy"

"Really?"

"What?"

"Short and bitchy you could do better than that"

"Then I have nothing to say"

"That's what you're going to say about me?"

"No because people don't ask those type of questions"

"Why not she's your daughter's mother"

"Because a lot of people don't know I have a daughter, I try to keep that part of my life hidden from the internet and all that type of stuff, I was young when random strangers started coming to my house because my address got leaked"

"Leaked, what did you do?"

"Don't worry about it I also keep that part of my life a secret"

"Does it have something to do with having over 20 million followers, what did you do was it illegal?" I smirked

"God I wasn't porn star or nothing like that I sang for people"

"Ohhh, that makes sense"

"Yeah"

"Wait you watch porn?"

"Who hasn't oh my god" she laughed

"Surprised hearing that come from a teacher I'm not used to that"

"Obviously" she pulled up to my house

"Thank you"

"Wait?"

"Hm?"

"Keep it gold suits you" she put my necklace back into my hand, I guess I couldn't resist it now.

"Bye Billie"

"Bye"
