I picked up Elliot and rested her on my hip so she's able to see her mother in her casket at her funeral, truth is I was better off not coming because her family always hated me for no reason, either way I didn't come for them, I'm doing this for my daughter. My sister came too to pay her respects, she felt bad that Elliot now has to grow up with one parent, me.

"Is mommy in heaven now?" Elliot asks me out of nowhere in front of everyone

Heaven?

"Yes baby, she's in a much better place now," I smiled at her

Damn right

She got down from my arms and I grabbed her hand to escort her back to our seat, she sat in the middle between Ellie and me, Max was on the other end of Ellie. I look over to my left curiously and saw Lucille's mother and sister giving me dirty looks, like I'm here like the rest of you damn.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom I'll be right back," I told them

"Okay I'll watch her," Ellie said

"Thanks"

I stood up and walked off to the bathroom which was out of the room we were in, I walked a bit down the hall until I found it and went inside. All the stalls were empty luckily so I pulled out a small bottle of alcohol, something I brought to get me at least through the whole fucking day, I'm regretting not bringing a flask at this point. Anyways I downed the whole thing then threw the bottle away.

"Stupid bitches," I whispered and kicked the wall

After a couple of minutes of cooling off and getting my anger out, I wet my face with water then left the bathroom. On the way out I ran into Lucille's older sister Suzie, she walked up to me and folded her arms against her chest.

"Can I help you?" I asked her

"My sister became a mess after she met you because you ruined her-"

"Yet we both ended up in the same mental hospital somehow babe she was already broken way before she met me"

"My sister only went in there because of her trying to harm herself I don't even know how you guys ended up in the same room"

"What do you have against me?"

"Everything you're a god damn sociopath you never cared about her"

"What are you implying?"

"Elliot deserves better"

"Move or I would drop kick you and your unborn child to the ground don't fuck with me I'm not in the mood today," I said referring to her being 7 months pregnant, I never asked the gender nor do I care.

"Excuse me?" She scoffed

"Did I stutter? Move. out. of. the. Fucking. way."

She looked at me with a blank expression on her face and moved out of the way.

"So my husband and I have been talking" Isabelle Lucille's mother said to me at the dinner

"And?" I said clearly annoyed

"We were wondering if we could have Elliot come...live with us"

"What?"

"We were-"

"No no no I heard what you said but I'm just trying to figure out what the fuck you're talking about?"

"We think it's best for her"

"Best for her? You don't tell me what's best for my daughter you're not taking her"

"Billie I know we got off on the wrong foot-"

"You fucking hated me from the beginning now all of a sudden you want my daughter?"

"She's the only thing we have left of our daughter," Her husband yells out

"Oh I see exactly what the fuck is going on, you only want her to replace what you lost," I chuckled angrily, I was livid and I really wanted to hurt someone but I had to control myself cause I didn't want to end up in handcuffs again.

"What loss?" He said

"Lucille you fucking prick," I yelled at him getting more angier by the second

"C'mon let's go," Ellie grabbed my arm and Max picked Elliot up out of her chair

"You're not taking her," I said again

"Billie let's go the cops were called," Ellie pulled me by the arm out of the building

"Bye bye," Elliot tells everyone

We got outside and I immediately kicked the first thing I saw which was a small sign and knocked it down.

"Billie let's get you home"

"They want to take my daughter away from me?"

"Billie calm down"

"Fuck you don't tell me to calm down"

"Just have a nap in the car I'll drive"

"Fuck this," I tried to storm back in there but Ellie pulled me back

"Nope" she dragged me out to the car

I got in the passenger seat and punched the dashboard out of anger, I went through the glove department and grabbed my pills out of it, everything around me started to shake and I was seeing red, I quicky pulled out two and downed it with water, a couple of seconds everything stopped and I felt calm again.

"You only get like this when you drink," Ellie says

"I'm fine just take me home please," I ran my fingers through my hair

"How much did you have?"

"Ellie please," I snapped at her

"...Is Elliot strapped in?" She asked Max while putting on her seat belt

"Yes ma'am"

"Okay," she started the car and drove off
