Chapter 8 - Magic Types

Today is the first day of the class. Last week, Mateo and his friends gone to the City of Galeo to venture. They also had an ample time to look around the campus in order for them to familiarize the school because Mateo and Lesley totally forgot about every corner of the school since the last day of the exam. After their journey, a time for training was also putted in their schedule. They had a good time learning from each other for a week.

Mateo who had done his bath gone inside the room. He dressed into the uniform given to them. They also got a book and school supplies from the school which made Mateo save more money. When he was ready to go, he grab his sling bag where he put the supplies.

"I'll...go first" Mateo awkwardly glance at Edward who was still buttoning his polo shirt. Edward look at Mateo who was waiting for his answer and silently nod.

Mateo did not waste time and gone outside to find Karl and Lesley. It was still early in the morning and class won't start this time. The three of them had an agreement to meet each other at the school cafeteria.

Since Mateo had known where the cafeteria is because of last week's venture. He got to the cafeteria without a problem. There aren't a lot of descendants in the area, the most probable explanation would be that there are less students who likes to eat breakfast. Some would buy sandwiches or bread partnered with a drink and go. Mateo who was raise to eat properly doesn't know the feeling of not eating anything early in the morning or filling a little food in their stomach. Karl and Lesley was also raise with a strict family that eating early in the morning became part of their daily lives.

Mateo did not saw Karl nor Lesley in the cafeteria after he look around. He just sit on the empty seat and waited for them while reading the application book he got from the school. He was so focus the he didn't feel the presence of Karl and Lesley who had sited across him with a big table at the center.

"Class hasn't start yet but you're studying right now" Mateo lift his head and glance at the blonde boy whose voice he heard then to the little girl with a doll in her arms.

"Its boring alone so I just read some books" Mateo close his book and put it back in his bag and look at his friends opposite him.

"Are you mad?" Lesley ask worried about Mateo being mad at her. They got up from their sit and took a route towards the counter.

"Nope, not at all. Why are you late though?" Mateo told them honestly while looking at the foods serve at the cafeteria. Each of them choose the foods they want to eat while conversing. 

"I'm just late at waking up. I'm not a morning person"  Karl slide his fingers to his messy blonde hair and shrug at Mateo. Karl's answer was a little strange because Mateo had shared a room with Karl and he knew that the blonde boy will be the first to rouse from sleep. Mateo did not mind about it and resume at listening to Lesley.

"A lady had a lot to do early in the morning" Lesley who was half truth twirl her tied hair at the back. Wholly, Lesley put a lot of effort in applying a make up on her face that's longer than she formerly did. Apparently the little girl wanted to keep pretty everyday because of Mateo.

"We need to be alone sometimes and I understand, you don't have to be worried about me" Mateo smile at the two who was looking at him worried that Mateo would be mad at little things like being late. They still are in the process of knowing each other that's why they are sometimes anxious about their actions. But clearly Mateo wasn't the type who will be mad at something like that.

The three took a sit back and eat their food they fill at their tray. They talk and joke about literally everything they can think of while eating.

"Right, do you still know where are classroom is?" Lesley suddenly talk about school while eating her green peas one by one. Karl look at her with a scrunch brows.
