"YOURE LATE!" Naruto and Sakura both exclaimed as Kakashi finally arrived. Two and a half hours had already passed since their set time to meet and it was an understatement to say that the two ninjas were displeased as their teacher came late, yet again.
"Sorry I—" Kakashi wasn't able to voice out his completely made up reason as he was interrupted by his two students.
"SHUT UP CANT YOU COME ON TIME FOR ONCE?!?!?"
"Hai Hai ." Kakashi knew at this point that there was no use in stating another mad up reason as they were obviously annoyed and he really would have preferred not getting yelled at.
"Hurry up and tell us our mission." Sasuke stated, directing the attention towards himself, who was casually leaning over the edge of the bridge with his elbows resting on the railings. He was pretty composed compared to his teammates but impatience was very evident in his cold voice.
"Hmn, you're all very friendly aren't you?" Kakashi muttered under his breath, but still loud enough for everyone to hear him. This caused another outburst from their female team mate with the blond supporting her even though he barely knows what she's talking about.
After mentally scolding himself for giving them a reason to open their mouths, he calmed them down and apologize (though he really didn't mean to) and brought them to the Hokage's office where they would all hear, first hand, what their mission was.

"Come in" The Hokage said as Kakashi knocked on the door.
"Team 7....' The Hokage said as they entered.
"Your mission is to retrieve some important scrolls and at the same time to act as a bodyguard to the rightful owner. Her name is Joo Suzai." The Hokage stated, without meeting the eyes of the people before him. "This young girl over here will aide you in tracking the scrolls and such."
And with that introduction, a girl with long red hair tied in low twintails, and green eyes wearing a black turtleneck and black shorts with 2 katanas strapped on her back stepped forward. Naruto and Sakura stared at her, doing a poor job in hiding their surprise. Sasuke on the other hand, stared at her intently before his hard gaze turned into a glare, obviously displeased with the fact that he was not able to detect her presence when he first entered the room. Kakashi did not sense her there yet he was not surprised when she showed herself as she stepped forward and revealed herself. he didn't really quite understand it but there are times when that girl can have a really have presence and there are times where she has none at all.
The redhead girl didn't seem to acknowledge the presence of any other person in the room aside from Kakashi and the Hokage. Kakashi narrowed his eyes at the Hokage. He worked with this girl before and she wasn't really someone that youre just going to put to any C- ranked or even B-Ranked mission. If she was there then the mission they were assigned to might not be as simple as he makes it sound. He waited for a couple of minutes but it didn't seem like the Hokage mentioned any possible dangers n the mission and the girl didn't utter a single word. He stared intently at her, trying to figure out if she knew why the Hokage assigned her to 'a simple C-ranked mission' as the Hokage would call it. She didn't show any signs of complaints and the longer Kakashi tried to analyze her, the more he noticed how much she seemed like a genin, not who Kakashi thought she was. Seeing as it was probably pointless to inquire about his concern, Kakashi decided to leave it be and just follow whatever he was told to do. If things did get out of hand though, he told himself that he will get to the bottom of things at once.

"Hmn. Since we'll be working on this mission together, we might as well introduce ourselves to each other, no?" Kakashi asked, mostly speaking to the redhead who was standing a few feet away from the rest of the team while waiting for Kakashi who (naturally) came not less than half an hour late. There was silence as the redhead girl pretended to not have heard him. Kakashi cleared his throat and reminded himself that he must be patient as it seemed like it was going to be a long mission. "Yeah I meant you, kid." He stated, earning him a brief glare from the redhead before she turned her gaze at everyone else.
"Mei."
Her voice was low and cold but no one could probably have missed it as a thick cloud of tension formed around them once she spoke. Neither Sakura nor Naruto dared to speak and Sasuke just glared at her. Kakashi watched how his team was holding up so far and he supposed it was an understatement to say that his team wasn't doing so good. The new and temporarily member of his team intimidated two of his students too much and it seems like the said newcomer and his remaining student had a mutual feeling of hatred for each other seeing as they were not sending indirect glares at each other. Kakashi released a loud sigh, catching the attention of the redhead who stared at him curiously. He didn't exactly know what else he could do so he simply shook hi head at her and hoped for the best.
