Every inch of his body hurt like hell. He didn't exactly know what happened as all he can remember was darkness. He couldn't exactly point out which part of his body was in pain or what it felt like. He was just literally hurt all over. He released a soft groan as he mustered the strength to open his eyes. He couldn't tell much at first as the sudden appearance of light burned his eyes and his vision was foggy. At first all he can see was a blur of colors and a shadow and everything became clearer an he was able to identify the things around him.

He was in the room that was lent to him in the manor. Once he remembered where he was, he remembered what happened and he wondered out loud if the little girl was saved and was able to make it back with them. Of course, he didn't wonder it a loud, nor did he plan to ask anyone about it. It was just a thought that rested in the depths of his mind. Not only did he notice that he was back in the manor, he also realized that someone was with him and that the pain seemed to lesses every second that he lies there awake and his mind becomes clearer. He looked at the person who was with him through the corner of his eyes and he would have stood up and tackled the person beside him to the ground while pressing up a kunai to her throat If only his body wasn't in such a bad condition.

"What are you doing? I don't need your help." He manage to hiss at the redhead beside him, who seemed to have only noticed that he was awake. A look of relief seemed to have wash over her face for a split second before it returned to her usual scowl. "Shut up."

The boy, obviously not appreciating the medical help he was being given, glared at her and attempted to stand up, only to have him pushed down again, though not as harsh as she usually would. "Don't stand up." She stated, firmly.

"I said I don't need your help." The boy hissed again he swatted away the girls hands. The girl was immediately insulted at the action, and growled at him, fighting every urge to shove him out of bed and throw him out the window. She took a deep breathe before she looked at him dead in the eye and said,

"Look....if I were you, I'd just lie down, shut my mouth and swallow my pride. Don't act like your better than everyone else cause your not. If you just listened to me, then maybe you wouldn't be here, lying on this bed, half dead! So don't tell me what to do because I'm not the one who screwed up."

The boy couldn't find a response to what she said and even if he did find one, the redhead didn't want to hear it. After she spoke she immediately broke eye contact. She continued on her medical ninjustsu before she stormed out of the room, not forgetting to slam the door behind him.

Mei didn't do a very good job at hiding her displeasure but it didn't seemed like she cared very much. She took out a few tools she kept in her bag and began cleaning and sharpening her twin blades. Anyone in their right minds would have kept their distance from her considering how dangerous she currently looked, sharpening her weapons but Kakashi had other plans.

"Anything wrong?" He asked as he slid the door to the garden open, leaning on the doorframe.

"Shut up." Mei growled without looking up form what she was doing.

"Hmn. Is Sasuke doing well?" He asked, which seemed to have been a mistake considering the question just seemed to have angered the redhead more. For a few moments, the only sound heard would be the frequent rustling of trees and the sound of a blade being sharpened. Kakashi knew that she wasn't going to speak to him any time soon considering she was in a pretty foul mood but he wasn't about to leave anytime soon. He was just wise enough to not say anything until the redhead herself has spoken first. The somewhat silence between them stretched until what seemed like eternity until Mei broke it.
