Hate at first sight

Chapter 10

"We---" "What's this? Everyone's gathered here...Did I come a bit too late, Mei?" A female voice cut off Kakashi just as he was about to say something, catching everyone by surprise. A kunoichi who was wearing an ANBU uniform without the mask appeared from the shadows on the cave, with a smirk on her face. She had red hair that was let down and emerald eyes like Mei.

Mei shook her head lightly and chuckled. "You can say that, oneesan."

"Mizu." The redhead hissed as he sent her a pointed glare and brought out a dagger. "Hello, I think you've got something of mine's" The kunoichi replied with a smile.

"Cut the crap, oneesan." Mei sighed. "Dont give me that attitude, im not the one that looks like crap scattered on the floor." Mizu snapped as she placed a hand on her hip, causing Mei to roll her eyes at her. Kakashi chuckled lightly to himself at how the two were acting despite the situation. It was hard to believe that they would stop for a normal welcoming chat while they were supposedly ambushing a group of S-ranked criminals. The rogue shinobi on the other hand, were quite annoyed and insulted at the fact that they were being put aside for a friendly chat.

"Seems like you've gone and gotten yourself in a lot of trouble again, imouto." She sighed as she walked towards Mei casually. She stopped in her tracks as a brunette came running at her with a dagger but simply took out her own and blocked his attack before throwing him to the side. "These are supposed to be S-ranked but I guess you got the underdogs. Im really disappointed in you, Mei." She muttered as she looked around at the others who took a stance and were readyl to come at her. "Alright, alright just release your restrain on me so we can get this over and done with."

"Just shut up and release your technique oneesan." Mei stated.

"Fine. Release." She stated as she held two fingers up and a harsh wish that seem to come from Mei blew and spread throughout the entire cave. "Ive also done you a favor and took care of that other thing inside you." Mizu shrugged as she turned her back on Mei and faced the rest of the rogue shinobi. Mei muttered a small thanks as she closed her eyes and placed her hand that started to glow green on her chest. She opened her eyes after a few moments as the glow died down and she stood. She was still unarmed and all but she had her chakra and that was supposedly enough to defend herself. The rogue shinobi knew the pit that they fell in and Mei stopped herself from chuckling at their idiocy. She couldn't exactly believe that they thought they stood a chance with both her and Mizu in the same place.

"Hey idiot." A cold voice called out and Mei reacted instinctively and turned towards the voice to see a smirking Uchiha. "Dont call me that." She hissed, quite annoyed at the boy for calling her that, and at herself for reacting to it. "Whatever, you looked. You'll need a weapon." He stated as he threw her twin blades and weapon pouch at her. She caught it and stared at the boy with a confused expression for a few seconds before hurling a dagger at the man coming at him from behind. The dagger landed at the man's neck and he collapsed lifelessly on the ground. "Pay attention, duckass." She stated as she turned around to face Mizu.

"That seal was quite something really, but let me guess, you just developed it? It wasn't too hard to remove and seems like Mei recovered easily. Ive got to give you admit though, seems like you've given imotou a small piece of hell while I was away. Nice try." Mizu stated as she gave them a thumbs up, angering the shinobi but mostly Kurai, who took it as a sarcastic remark or as an insult.

"Talk when you're on your way to hell." Raiton hissed as lightning crackled around his dagger and charged at Mizu. She sidestepped him and kneed his gut before kicking him. He maneuvered on air and was able to land perfectly on his feet but in a distance from the two.

"Come on, oneesan. Lets get this over and done with." Mei stated as she lifted her hands in front of her, preparing to perform a set of seals. Mizu nodded in response as she closed her eyes and imitated Mei. They performed a couple of seals simultaneously and whispered once they finished, "One elemental dragon."
