"Oneechan?" Sakuna whispered as she tugged the hem of Mei's turtleneck. Team seven was standing near the front door of the manor, Kakashi and the rest getting ready to leave while Naruto and Sasuke stayed behind, scowls etched across their faces. Suzai took a quick glance at the two again before tugging on Mei's hem a bit harder. The redhead bent down to Suzai's height and asked, "What is it?"

"Can't you take care of me instead?" She asked in a soft voice, a hint of worry and fear present in her golden eyes. The brunette didn't like the raven haired boy from the very beginning. She didn't think he was that friendly but now he just looked downright scary. The blonde beside him couldn't be that bad but she wasn't so happy spending the day with him either. She didn't want to spend the day with any of Mei's teammates, she wanted to spend the day with her. She felt safe with her.

"Sorry but I can't. I have something to attend to." Miharu replied sadly. "But don't worry, you'll be fine and we'll be back soon alright? Besides, they're not that scary. Trust me." She sent a wink at her and ruffled her hair a bit as she stood up to her full height.

"I don't suppose you could mess up a task as simple as babysitting. So do your job properly bastard." She said coldly as she eyed the Uchiha behind Suzai.

"Or what?"  He growled. The way he was being spoken to wasn't really helping his current mood and he could care less about a threat some redhead was making.

"You don't want to know." She hissed before waving goodbye to Sakuna and leaving.

Suzai was feeling quite bored as she walked around the manor. If Mei was here, she was sure that she'd be playing with her out in the garden by now. She really liked it when Mei came over because she had someone to play with. She was walking around mindlessly when a raven haired boy caught her eye. He was just sitting down and looking quite bored. She wondered for a while if she can ask him to play with her. She had asked the blonde a while back but he had gotten tired and had fallen asleep. She wanst really sure if she should ask this by since he didn't seem to like her too much but she remembered what her oneechan said, about how he wasn't really so scary. Her boredom got the best of her and she approached him.

"Sasuke-San! Sasuke- San! Let's play!" Sakuna said cheerfully as she tugged unto sasuke's hand.

The said Uchiha was surprised at the sudden call of his name but it didn't change his mood much He was still upset at the fact that he had to stay home and babysit with the idiot blond while the rest went out to do the mission.

"No." He replied coldly as he turned his back on her.

"I'm gonna tell you to oneechan." She said as she found courage that she didn't know she had before and crossing her arms across her chest.

"I don't care." He said 'coolly' and the girl, quite upset that he had been so mean to turn her request down started sniffling and began to cry. Sasuke stared at her with wide eyes and panic rising in him. He had made a small girl cry and he didn't know what to do. It wasn't like he cared what the girl felt, it was simply just because he was annoyed at the sound of the girl crying.

"H-hey! Stop!" Sasuke exclaimed, not exactly knowing what to do. Of course, the yelling had only made things worse which made Suzai cry louder. Sasuke, not knowing what else to do to get her to stop, angrily gave in to the 5-year old's request.

"Fine! I will alright?! Just stop!" He exclaimed while covering his ears, hoping that it will block out the crying sounds the little girl made.

"Yay!" Sakuna beamed, her eyes not showing any signs of crying at all. "Tag! You're it!" She exclaimed as she tapped sasuke's arm and ran away laughing. Sasuke's eye twitched, he had thought that maybe he can just let her run away but he didn't want to risk hearing that annoying sound anymore. He hesitantly stood up from his spot and walked out of the room, supposedly chasing after the little girl.

"ONEECHAN!!!!" Suzai exclaimed as she tackled Mai into a hug just as she returned.

"Wow. Easy there kid. Did you have fun today?" She asked as hugged her back. The said girl drew back and exclaimed,

"YES!SASUKESANANDIPLAYEDTAG.ATFIRSTHESAIDNOBUTTHENITRICKEDHIMINTOPLAYING!"

(Yes! Sasuke-san and I played tag. At first he said no but then I tricked him into playing!)

"I see that you had lots of fun today you're probably tired. You should goo and rest then you can tell me all about your day later alright?" She chuckled as she ruffled the brunette's hair and she nodded in response before running off to her room cheerfully, obviously excited for 'later' to come so she can tell her oneechan how her day went. She especially couldn't wait to tell her how she tricked the scary looking raven haired boy to play with her by pretending to cry. That was her favourite part of the day.

"Duckbutt was tricked into playing tag by a 5 year old?" Mei said as she raised an eyebrow. Sasuke scowled at her before storming away and she couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. Kakashi watched the two and noted how this was probably the first time where Mei's intention weren't as cold and Sasuke didn't say anything insulting and just stormed away. Maybe, he thought, maybe they were going to get along soon.

He followed Mei into one of the rooms in the manor and watched as they all bickered. He didn't know why but he found himself chuckling at the group as they seemed to get along better now. They were still bickering but he supposed that the hatred and tension that usually hung in the air was not gone and everything was just playful bickering. They were all relaxing and joking around when a piercing shriek was heard and they all froze on the spot.
