"This is so boring!" Said Vinnie as he dropped down in the chair next to his dearly beloved friend Doogie.
"Can you at least try and act like you're having fun?" Asked Doogie his Italian friend.
As a doctor, Doogie had to attend this gathering the hospital was holding and for his plus one he decided to bring Vinnie. Big mistake.
"Oh come on! Can't we just go? We could stop at the gas station and get slushies." Said Vinnie and Doogie looked around the party, debating if he should go or not.
He made up his mind the second he saw some old doctor pick his nose and then grab a mini sandwich without washing his hand first.
"Yep. We can go." Said Doogie as he stood up and grabbed his jacket that was drapped over the chair.
"Thank god." Said Vinnie as he stood up and immediately made his way for the exit.
The two left the party unnoticed and went for the gas station to get their slushies.

They were now walking down the street which was lit up by street lights and the lights coming from the stores and small desginer shops.
Doogie noticed his friend who has stopped and looked through the window of an aet gallery at someone.
"What is it?" Asked Doogie.
"Jayla is in there." Said Vinnie as Doogie remembered the girl Vinnie has had a crush on for a few weeks.
"Lets go in." Said Vinnie to which Doogie wanted to protest but he was already pulled inside by his friend.
Vinnie then left his friends side and went to find where Kayla went.
The young doctor sighed and decided to look around at all the art while Vinnie flirted his way into a relationship.

Vinnie turned a corner and finally spotted Kayla but to his surprise, she wasn't alone.
The boy watched as she hugged and kissed some other guy that wasn't him.
It felt like a little piece of his heart broke when he saw them.
The boy quickly turned around, not wanting to watch this no longer.
He tried to find the exit again but it seemed as if he got lost so the boy decided to just sit down on a white museum bench near some art pieces.
He put his head in his hands, wanting to cry yet no tears came out.
The boy was so deep in thought he didn't notice a girl with headphones around her head approach him with a worried look on her face.
"Are you okay?" She asked the boy as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
Vinnie looked up towards her and wiped a few non existent tears before replying.
"Yeah. Sorry i was just, in my own thoughts." Said Vinnie as he smiled at the pretty girl and she smiled back.
"Im Y/n. Whats your name?" She asked as she sat down next to him.
"Im Vincent but people call me Vinnie." Said Vinnie his eyes not leaving this girl.
"You sure you're okay? You look like you just gotten broken up with or something like that." Said Y/n and the boy laughed a bit.
"No, seriously im fine. Its nothing to worry about." Smiled Vinnie as he stared at the girl.
She was wearing a short dress in a dirty dark blue colour with a white unbottoned button down over it. She had a pair of black headphones around her neck that was connected to the walkman that was sticking out of her slightly bigger purse. The girl had (h/c) (h/l) hair that was tied in a half up half down ponytail with a few strands sticking out front of course. She wore these pretty red mushroom earrings Vinnie guessed she made herself. She wore white comverse and ankle high white socks.
The girl looked beautiful in Vinnies eyes. She was so pretty to him it was unbelivable.
The two didn't even notice they were just staring at each other smiling until someone cleard their throat next to them.
Vinnie looked up at Doogie who looked pretty confused.
"Whos this?" Asked Doogie the boy and Vinnie looked at his friend and then back at Y/n and then back at Doogie again.
"This Y/n! I just met her. She's here for-... Im not really sure why she's here." Said Vinnie as he turned to the girl.
"One of my pieces are here and it is the opening night so i wanted to check it out." Said Y/n and Doogie looked at her surprised.
"Really? Which piece?" Asked Doogie and Y/n got up starting to walk over to it with the boys following her.
"This one." Said Y/n as she pointed at the piece.
The piece showed a gallery that looked a lot like this one with two people sitting on a bench. The guy wearing a tux with a slushie in hand and the girl wore a short dress with headphones around her neck.
Doogie look at it a bit confused and then at the two next to him noticing that the painting literally looks like what he saw them two earlier.
"Whats it called?" Asked Doogie the girl.
"𝑂𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑡." Said Y/n as she smiled at her dear piece.
"Its lovely." Said Doogie.
And that day it was as if Doogie had predicted that his friend and this girl jist might become something more that friends themselves.
