Pierre and Y/n have been hanging out a lot. Every day to be exact. The two had a lot of catching up to do, they were apart for so many years.

But it seemed as the two got closer, a love might have blossomed back while a different one slowly started to die.

Y/n and Vinnie were of course still hanging out, just not as much as before and everytime they did hang out, Pierre was there to just swoop her away into their own little conversation.

Easy to say Vinnie hated what was happening, he was supposed to be with Y/n but she barely talked to him now. One thing was for sure, he hated Pierre...

"Hey boys!" Said Y/n as she dropped into Doogies room through the window with Pierre right behind her.

"Hey Y/n! Hello Pierre." Said Vinnie, the bitterness in his tone clearly visible as he spat Pierres name out but of course, Y/n didn't notice, she never did.

"Vinnie, Doogie. Nice to see you guys." Nodded Pierre towards both of them as he dropped into the room.

"You guys wanna go to the movies maybe? Ghostbusters 2 is finally out!" Asked Y/n and the boys all nodded so they started to make their way down the stairs and to the front door.

"Dad! Im going to the movies with my friends!" Yelled Doogie to his dad who just nodded his head to worked up in some papers.

The four of them left through the front door and started to walk to the cinema where they then purchased the tickets before getting popcorn and drinks. They all made their way to the seat where then Doogie sat frist, next to him Vinnie, then Y/n and lastly Pierre.

The girl was put in between of the two boys and to say that it was at least a bit awkward was an understatment.  During the movie at some point both of the boys put their hands on the seat handles, palms up and hand spread out.

Y/n looked down and noticed the two open hands, as if they were both asking for her to hold their hand. Y/n was a bit oblivious but not to the point where she didn't notice this.

Thank god it was dark in the theater, otherwise both the boys could've seen the gigantic blush that played across the girls cheeks and burned the tips of her ears. She looked back and forth at the two hands before just deciding to ignore both of the hands and focusing on the movie.

'Great. Just great..." The girl thought to herself, taking a sip of her drink.

"The movie was so good!" Spoke Vinnie as the four left the theater.

"Definetly." Agreed Y/n with him as they all stood in front of the theater in silence.

"So... What do you guys wanna do now?" Asked Doogie and everybody looked around at each other.

"Wanna go get slushies?" Asked Vinnie and Y/n smiled, nodding immediately.

"I think Im just gonna go home. Slushies aren't my kind of thing." Spoke Pierre as he slipped his jacket on.

"Awh, come on!" Pleaded Y/n.

"Maybe another time. And my mom told me to be back by 9 pm so I have to go." Said the boy.

"Alright then, see you tomorrow!" Spoke the girl as she hugged him before he left.

"Alright well, lets go?" Asked Doogie and the other two nodded as they started walking to the gas station.

Doogie left by now and Y/n and Vinnie were just sitting in silence, enjoying eaxh others company.

"So, who is Pierre anyway?" Asked Vinnie and Y/n looked over at him confused.

"What do you mean?" The girl asked back smiling.

"Well like, how do you guys know each other, are you french and you never chose to tell me?" The boy asked laughing.

"I am not french. I did live in France at one point but that is a whole different story. The two of us have been friends since we were in diapers. Our moms knew each other since high school and just stayed life long friends." Spoke Y/n as Vinnie listened to her carefully.

"So you lived in France? How come?" The boy asked.

"Art school my mom was attending. While she was out in classes i was roaming the streets of beautiful Paris. I almost got robbed like three times! I swear, those streets are not made for younger girls." Spoke the girl frustrated and Vinnie just laughed.

"Well you're fine now and thats all that matters. But i must say you've lived a hell of a life." Said Vinnie and Y/n just smiled remembering all the good times.

"Yeah... I guess i have." The girl spoke before the two fell into comfortable silence again.

"Hey, ummm-... I'm sorry about the other day. I was not sure of what to do or what i felt so i am really sorry for leading you on." Spoke Y/n awkwardly and Vinnie nodded, ignoring the slight pain he felt in his chest.

"It's okay. We are better off as friends either way. And honestly I recently found out that this girl i have liked before broke up with her boyfriend so i was thinking about asking her out..." Spoke Vinnie slowly.

"Oh my god! That's great! I am so happy for you!" Said Y/n as she hugged him and the boy, of course, hugged back.

"Friends?" Asked Y/n, hiding the pain in her voice she didn't even know she was holding.

"Friends." Agreed Vinnie, forcefully putting on a smile before giving one more hug.

Maybe the hug lasted a second too long, as if two lovers have just broken up sharing that one last hug where they pour out all their emotions before letting go.
