The sound of scribbles fills the room. The classroom is filled with students concentrating and working hard on their work. Morgan raises her hand for permission to use the restroom, which was granted.
Morgan is washing her hands after using the restroom. But then a sound surprises her; a weep, followed by a sob. Someone is crying in one of the stalls. Morgan can't bring herself to leave or move, she feels bad for whoever that person is. She chooses to wait for that girl or person to calm down a little so she can try and console whoever it is once they come out.
Morgan dries her hands and waits for a few more seconds, staring at the stall, the one the sound is coming from, through the mirror's reflection.
The stall door finally opens, and to Morgan's surprise, Melody slowly steps out.
A little bit of her mascara is smudged and her puffy red eyes widen when she sees that her friend is standing there. Melody looks down in embarrassment.
"You ok, Mel?" Morgan asks, visibly an audibly concerned about her friend.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Melody responds with a sniff as she washes her hands and cleans up her messy makeup.
Morgan rubs Melody's back, trying to make her feel better. "If there's anything you wanna talk about, I'm here to listen, ok?"
"I have to get back to class." She ignores Morgan and makes her way towards the door. Before she goes, she turns to Morgan, "And I'm fine, really. I just broke up with Finn." And with that said, she exits the restroom leaving Morgan all alone in her worries.
