Happy Valentine's Day!
If it's not too weird for you, I kinda wanna ask you out haha.
I've always thought you are cute and I've low key been crushing on you this past month...
I completely understand if you you feel uncomfortable. I just wanted to let you know how I felt haha.

Nate holds the linear paper in his hand, reading the letter over and over again over twenty four times. Almost as if he were to memorize it.

He studies her handwriting. The letter is written is such a clean cursive font that makes the page seem very satisfying to look at.

He just can't believe it. He turns to Morgan to show her and she is equally as shocked. She texts the twins as soon as she finished reading the letter. They didn't know either. No one did.

Nate was speechless. All he could do is blush.

My crush likes me back.

The sentence replaying in his head, over and over again like a broken record. And it will keep on going until he actually believes it.

"She likes me back." He says to Morgan to finally make it a reality.

Morgan is as shocked as Nate. All she can do is grin like a proud mother. She is a proud mother.

Not even his classmates could believe it. Nate barely talks in class—some kids in his class don't even know what his voice sounds like. They wonder if the letter was just written by someone shallow who finds him cute.

Everyone is in shock.

But Nate also feels relieved that all his worrying was for nothing. Melody likes him, not Finn.

But Morgan was proud of him. She pats his head and the bell rings, telling them to go to first period.

Nate folds up the letter neatly and puts it in his pocket smiling gently as he imagines what a relationship with Melody would be like. He obviously had high expectations because he has always been single. He and Morgan walk silently to their class with bright grins on their faces.
