11- Is it over now?

Félix's POV

Félix fought against the bats for hours. Or, at least, that's how it felt.

He was starting to feel tired. He tried to ignore it, but as he punched bat number 35, he knew he couldn't keep it up forever.

But, just when he felt he as he couldn't move anymore, the bats stopped dead. They all fell to the ground and died.

"Woah, I must be hella strong" Félix thought, even if he wasn't sure he'd done that.

He sat in the ground, making space between the dead bodies of  the creatures, too exhausted to care. He'd earned a rest.

He waited for Bruno and Pepa to come back. Pepa, the  girl he admired most. She was strong and determined, yet sweet and gentle. He couldn't believe his eyes when she first told him that she loved him. She was a fantastic superhero, and he was Félix. Just Félix.

When they kissed, he felt dancing inside. When she hugged him, he felt as if nothing could go wrong. He adored that girl. 

Bruno and Pepa appeared. They were holding hands. They had their heads dows, and he could hear sobs. Pepa seemed to be covered in... blood?

Félix ran to them with open arms. Pepa hugged him. He held her in his bigs arms. She was sobbing uncontrollably and shaking.

"Shh, mi vida. It's ok. Tranquila. Shh"

"Oh, Félix. It's all my fault!" She kept crying, and each sob tore Félix heart.

Bruno came to the rescue. "It's Juli..." His voice broke.

He understood inmediatly, although he hoped he didn't.

"But, you killed Vecna, right? You've avenged her..."

Pepa stared at her yellow dress covered in blood. "Yeah... but that doesn't ease the pain..."

Félix hugged her tighter "I know... but it's over now..."

"Is it, though?" Bruno pointed at a circle of light in the horizont. The portal. And it was getting smaller by seconds.

"RUN!!!"

The three of them ran like mad to the portal. They were getting closer. But, the closer they got, the portal seemed to close faster.

"We're not gonna make it..." Pepa started crying again

"Yes we are! Félix held her and threw her into the portal. She emerged in the other side.

"Guys! Quickly!" She reached out her hand to them.

Bruno was running towards them  "GO, FÉLIX! I'LL GO AFTER YOU!!"

Félix nodded and jumped. He held Pepa's hand. She looked skinny, but was very strong. She endured his whole weight and lifted him towards the real world.

Now the portal was the size of  coffee table.

Félix took a deep breath of the air in the real world. He never would have imagined that air could taste so good.

But he didn't have time to taste the air. They still had problems. Bruno was still in there.

"JUMP, BOBO!" Pepa screamed at the top of her lungs "I ALREADY LOST JULI TODAY, I CAN'T LOOSE YOU TOO!"

Bruno jumped his all his might. Pepa caugh him. 

The three of them fell in the grass. They were utterly exhausted. The portal closed.

Finally, they were back. They'd killed Vecna.

But, why did they feel so broken?

Agustín's POV

"C'mon, cariño" He was taking a barely councious Julieta to the hospital. "Just a few more steps..."

He was holding her whole weight, but the journey was still a challenge. Julieta had no strenght. She had broken bones. Her nose was bleeding nonstop.

"A-Agustín?" Her voice was very weak

"Yes, cielo? Try to hold on. Please."

"Is it over now?"

"Yes. You've done so so so good.  You saved everyone. I'm so proud of you"

She smiled.

Agustín stared adoringly at her. She was so hurt, and yet she could smile. Her smile was the most wonderful thing he had ever seen.

"Everything will be ok" He told her. And he prayed to the gods for it to be true.
