Neither Clarke or Raven found Lexa again that week, the campus was huge and it was almost impossible to try and find a person they didn't quite knew. Raven did try to get Lexa's schedule by talking to the administration, but just when she was about to get it printed magically the printer ran out of ink.
Printers and their great timing.
All they could do was wait another week till Clarke shared class with her again.
And that week went by really really slow.
—So, you are telling me you haven't found this girl again? — Octavia was eating, shoving some chips on her mouth while looking at her phone
—Nope. Lexa Woods is nowhere in that god damn campus, I swear I checked on every fucking marketing class. Either she dropped out or she is a fucking ghost—
—Or she is avoiding you — O pointed out
—Well.... that's something we didn't think about — Raven spoke raising her eyebrow. —I mean she was pretty pissed off when we talked to her... maybe she is being careful because she doesn't want to run into us again. —
—Hum, could be. But I don't think she is that smart. She looks pretty dumb. —Both of her friends laughed and Clarke couldn't help but shrug —What? Have you seen her? She is an airhead for sure. ——I think the airhead is someone else...you guys really didn't look at social media? Instagram? Facebook? God damn it, I bet she even has a stupid Pinterest — And with that being said Octavia threw her phone on the table.
On the screen you could clearly see Lexa's Instagram profile, Raven and Clarke never felt more dumb. So they made a silent pact: don't talk about it.
—That's why you are the mastermind. —
—Nah-ah, don't give me that responsibility — O shook her head.
Octavia had been friends with them for years, and was usually the one who came up with the best plans and ideas. It wasn't a surprise for them when she did it this time.
Raven took the phone and scrolled down the profile, thankfully it was not private. But what could they expect from someone like her? Pretty, wealthy, popular, that's some of the adjectives they could easily pinpoint with just looking at her.
—She went to fucking Ibiza last year!? —All of sudden Raven yelled, eyebrows knitted together in a frown —God damn it, I can't even get out of this state. —
—So she is rich, what about it? We knew it. Find something interesting Rae. —
—There is nothing. — She wasn't lying, the more she scrolled down the less interesting it became. They were looking for the guy that started all, or that's what they thought. —He is not here. —
—Look again. Tall, dyed buzzcut, piercing on his right ear, a couple day's old beard...—Clarke described, for what felt like the million times, the guy she saw with Lexa in the bathroom.
—I'm telling you he is not here. —He wasn't a part of her profile, almost seemed like he wasn't a part of her life.
—Maybe he wasn't even her boyfriend and just a good time, you know? — Octavia continued eating, trying to come up with other scenarios.
—No, no, he is her boyfriend. You should've seen the look on her face when Clarke told her we were looking for him. —
—Maybe it was a new relationship and that's why she hasn't posted about him. —
—As much as I hate to say it maybe O is right on this one... —
—Thanks, Clarke. —
Raven let out a sigh and passed the phone to Octavia.
—You didn't like any picture, right? — Because from what Octavia could see, Raven had scrolled to almost four years ago.
—Yes, O, I gave a heart to every god damn picture like a psychopath. —
Octavia could read the sarcasm in her voice, so she just showed her her middle finger before closing the app.
—So this was useless, but at least we know she has an Instagram. We can come back to it, see what she posts...her stories and all that. Maybe it'll be helpful. —
—I guess —Raven looked up to O before glancing at Clarke again — But in three days you are gonna be in the same classroom as her, and you need to make her talk, Clarke. —
—Like hell I'm making her talk. You guys are coming with me, or I'm just gonna rip her head off. —
—Listen, we all hate her for what she told you at The Dropship. She is a bitch, yeah, but we need her — Rae repeated, trying to make Clarke understand.
And she did understand.
At the end Clarke knew: she was gonna do anything to get a lead on her missing friend.
