sunoo and sunghoon had won most rounds by the end of sports day, so the two of them got medals and their picture would now be on a school corridor for a year - which sunoo was not looking forward to.
all of his friends had left early since their partners practically dragged them with them but, sunoo didn't mind since he had to make his way straight home anyways.
however he wasn't ecstatic with the fact it was literally pouring it down and he had no umbrella nor did he have a jacket. this was a nightmare for him, and the only solution he thought of was using his backpack.
that was until someone came behind him and covered his head with a jacket. and it was the one and only park sunghoon. this startled sunoo, causing him to jump back a bit. the older just shook his head with a smile and took sunoo's hand, putting the jacket in it.
"i'll still walk you home, it's really dark," he said as him and sunoo started walking, nearly all of sunghoon's hair getting wet already. but, the younger tiptoed and put the other's jacket over the other himself too, feeling bad that he might get soaked.
their bodies were pressing against each other due to the struggle of sunghoon having to bend down a little to sunoo's height, and the fact they had to share a jacket didn't help either. sunghoon finally wrapped his arm around the shorter's waist so they could be closer - he didn't want the jacket being a struggle for them.

the pair finally reached their individual homes, both saying goodnight to each other before entering.
sunoo didn't know if he liked sunghoon or not but whenever sunghoon would do something - he'd get a churning feeling in his stomach and his chest may get all clogged with butterflies.
however, the boy just shrugged it off and got ready for the rest of the evening and helped his mum set the dinner table.
