"what?" sunghoon replied in shock and belief, detaching his hands and furrowing his eyebrows.

"of course we'll work out baby," he said after a small pause.

"how? nobody else thinks we make any sense." sunoo replied whilst backing away a tiny bit.

sunghoon scoffed and looked down with his tongue poking his cheek. "no. you don't think we make any sense."

sunoo can admit he has an over-thinking problem but he heard it in front of him. how even strangers and family think he's not good enough.

"i might think that because when we walk down the halls or if your family see me i just know what everyone's thinking and why they look at us. 'oh! why's he with him? he's too good for him!" he raised his voice unintentionally at the end.

"who cares what people think. i think you're good enough for me. i think you're more than enough. but i can't keep trying to convince you of that."

sunoo's heart dropped to his stomach, he felt sick.

"what does that mean?" the younger questioned.

"look sun i love you. but in order for us to have a real relationship you need to like yourself."

"gives us another reason not to be together then."

they both just stood there until sunoo had tears trickling down his cheeks after a few seconds.

"can't you leave sooner so it doesn't hurt as much then," he sobbed out quietly.

sunghoon just pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back, kissing his head.

"no. i'm never leaving you sun. i'm here with you, every step of the way."

sunoo dug his head into sunghoon's shoulder and the tears didn't stop flowing, his grip on the older getting tighter.
