the car pulled up in front of sunoo's house, hands still interlocked near the gearstick. however when sunoo's mum came out of the house, both boy's eyes widened as they quickly let go - sunghoon making his way to the trunk of the car to get the luggage out.

"hi sunghoon!" the woman cheered, sunoo's face possessing a deadpan expression due to the fact she didn't take notice of her son and instead went to her son's boyfriend.

"oh hi auntie!" the other replied before being engulfed in a hug by her, a bright smile on his face.

"sunoo, help him with the luggage. don't be rude," she said as she looked at sunoo whose arms were crossed and a brow was raised, kissing his teeth as he made his way to grab a suitcase.

"dinner's still getting ready so just hang out in sunoo's room!"

sunoo's head was laying down on sunghoon's chest who was playing with his hair whilst he was scrolling through tiktok.

"mm sunoo," sunghoon spoke out of nowhere, tapping the younger to get up.

"hm?" the latter replied with, putting his phone down.

sunghoon looked nervous, his face showing a mix of emotions whilst he was trying to spit out what he wanted to say. sunoo's eyebrows furrowed as curiosity started bubbling up inside of him.

"i..i don't think i'm ready to come out yet. like to my parents or friends i'm really sorry i do love you but i'm just n-"

sunoo cut him off by cupping his face, a smile slowly creeping up on his face before he kissed sunghoon's forehead.

"hyung, it's fine really. i understand just take your time."

sunghoon was so relieved to hear that. his head dropped down with a soft smile plastered on his face as he slowly looked up at sunoo - both leaning in.
that was until someone knocked on the door, causing sunoo to quickly go sit at his desk.

"come in," he said.

it was his mother.

"come down for dinner boys."

sunoo's parents, his older brother minhyun, and the couple were sitting at the dining table, sunghoon feeling a little intimidated to be sitting with his boyfriend's family.

"your name's sunghoon right? are you like sunoo's friend? boyfriend?"

sunoo choked on his food, covering his mouth whilst his eyes quickly darted to sunghoon whose obtained a shocked but flustered expression. sunoo quickly took a sip of his water.

"oh no he's my tutor sir," sunghoon replied with - face quickly going red whilst he tried to hide it by digging into his food. sunoo's older brother, minhyun, let out a staggered laugh.

sunoo however just kicked his leg under the table, giving him a death stare before his mum scolded him. meanwhile, sunghoon started to smirk - looking up to sunoo from his food, only to be met with a very fierce glare back.
