I open my eyes to view my alarm clock, it reads 10:12. I can't believe I once used to have an actual sleep schedule, I put on my glasses then get out of bed and begin my ever so plain morning routine of getting my clothes, changing then brushing my hair and teeth. After I finish my morning routine I decide to head to the dining hall, I leave my room and start making my way to the academy doors. On my way there I encounter Kokichi, "Hey four eyes, are ya gonna work on our costumes today or what?" They say almost snarkily but, in a funny way "oh yea, I was just going to grab myself some breakfast then Ill work away on your costumes, when do you need them by?" I ask Kokichi, he puts his hand to his chin like he's thinking. It takes him a few seconds to answer but dice eventually tells me "In the next week or so, our 'performance' is on the 21st, the day after the school festival, so its best for them to be done before that day y'know?"
"Alright Kokichi Ill have them done in a few days, Ill give them to Miu when I'm done." I say walking away, I head to the academy doors and start walking towards the dining hall. When I arrive I see the usual wake-up-late people, that being Shuichi, Himiko (of which is accompanied by Tenko) Ryoma and Miu (surprisingly) I greet them all with a small hello and they all mumble a small hello to me, expect Miu and Tenko who go out of their way to excitedly tell me good morning though Miu was more in her usual cocky tone. I head to the kitchen and get myself something to eat, I grab a bowl from the cabinet and pour some plain cereal into it, no Milk because I always leave it out and it gets soggy so this is my only way around it. Along with my cereal I make myself a cup of Tea to help me focus on my work.
I go to sit down at the dining hall beside Shuichi and his cups of coffee and murder mystery novel "oh hey Tsumugi, how are you?" They say sipping coffee and not looking up from his novel "Oh I'm fine Shuichi, I have a lot to work on today. I slept well.. I think, I cant really tell" I say taking a bite from my cereal "how about you?" I ask him "Oh well as usual I didn't get much sleep.. I think it was a bad idea having *him* over for the night was a bad idea.." Shuichi says with a regretful look, I can tell who their implying and if I'm right poor Shuichi... Shuichi and I converse in small talk before I inevitably finish my cereal and head off to my lab to start working on Kokichi and Miu's costumes. I reach my lab and take out the fabric I had gotten with them from the other day and start planning the rough draft on some extra paper lying around. After I finished that I move onto the actual patterning

Now that I've finished patterning I can move onto actually making the pieces for the costume, I take a sip from my tea, adjust my glasses and get into it. I start with Miu's Since its just a simple mechanical suit, I start by cutting the pieces for the arms then move onto the top portion then the legs. I start sewing these pieces together and set it on a form when done, I start to work on the gloves of which don't take me long as well as the bow. I decide to do the goggles later as that'll take more work. I finish the basic parts for Miu's costume and finally head onto the final product of it

3 hours later

Finally done! I display Miu's costume proudly in front of me, I'm quite happy with how this one turned out, even if it did take me a few hours to get right. By this time its already near 4 o'clock and I missed lunch, so I thought I'd go get some food and relax for a while before I start working on Kokichi's costume, I head down to the dining hall to make myself some food. Usually I would just get some plain sandwich but I was greeted to the pleasant surprise of Kirumi in the kitchen! "Good evening Mugi, how are you today? I haven't seen you at all." She says while grabbing something from the cabinets "Good evening to you too Kirumi, I'm doing fine just running low on battery and thought I'd get some food before I continue working." I say to her while surfing through the things in the fridge "Oh? Let me prepare you a meal Mugi. You need to be healthy to withstand the ideals of an ultimate and for work." she says as she very quickly starts cooking me a meal? "oh Kirumi you don't have to do that!" I say even though even I know Its too late and she will just insist "no no Mugi you need daily nutrients If you're going to be working in your lab all day." She insists and basically pushes me out of the kitchen to wait for my food.
I go to sit down at the table as i see a new batch of people here from this morning, Kokichi and Gonta are sitting together conversing, Maki and Kaede are doing each others nails which I think is pretty cool. I also see Kiibo just sitting there so I decide to sit by them "Hey Kiibo what's up?" I say sitting next to them "Ah! Tsumugi, I'm glad to see you for I have a bit of a problem." This peeks my curiosity "Oh? and what's that Kiibo?" I ask them "Well I've been wondering about someone's talent.. what exactly is Rantaro's ultimate? I know he's the ultimate adventurer but what exactly does he do?" Kiibo asks me, now that I think about it he hasn't really explained it to me either "well I guess he travels and collects relics and maps places out and stuff, I don't really know he hasn't quite told me either" I say giving Kiibo a disappointed look "now I'm curious.." they say as they keep on talking about the possibilities of Rantaro's ultimate

Kiibo gets up to leave after a long thoughtful conversation about something totally useless but it was a good time waster, by this point its around 6 o'clock, I don't think I'm able to get Kokichi's costume done today, Ill just do it tomorrow. I'm not feeling the best right now so maybe when I'm done the meal I'll just go back to my room and watch that new anime that came out, If I can remember the name of it that is. While I was in thought Kirumi comes out with a platter of food which consists of sushi of all types some crab legs and a bowl of noodles with some rice. this is so much food! "Kirumi you really didn't need to make so much food really!" I say to her "why I made so much so it's not a hassle to find something to eat in the near future. I'm simply thinking about you." she says giving me a smile before heading off back to the kitchen most likely to clean. Well I might as well start eating

Tsumugi eats about half the food then stores the rest then heads back to her room for the rest of the night.

A/N: sorry this chapter took so long to come out, I was at a convention on Saturday and did not have the willpower to do anything for the next few days because of it, if you're wondering I went as Junko to Anime North! I had a great time:)
