A Month of Tsumugi Shirogane

Day 12: April 12th

My eyes slowly open with the unpleasant feeling that comes with it, I check my alarm clock with squinted eyes as I read 9:44, still pretty late to get up if you ask me. I grab my glasses on my beside nightstand and start my plain boring routine, I gather my usual blouse with my skirt with suspenders and matching dark blue jacket and head off to my bathroom for a shower. I undress out of my pajamas and briefly catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, this definitely isn't my dream body that's for sure.... a flat chest and masculine features I hate so much. If only I wasn't like this. "I really should get in the shower." I tell myself, I turn to the shower and step in instantly being embraced by the hot water. It feels so nice on my skin.

Time passes and Tsumugi finishes their shower.

I step out of my shower feeling refreshed. I take out my towel and wrap it around my body while I get another one one for my hair, I put that one up as if I was at a salon it looks kinda messy but that's fine. I grab my clothes and start dressing, afterwards I grab my hairdryer and get at what the towel didn't soak up. After that I brush my hair and teeth and head out for my usual morning breakfast at the academy. I leave my dorm and head off to the dormitories door, In my small walk I can see several others leave their rooms along with chatting with others. Perhaps I should do something social today, even If I basically went on an adventure yesterday. I walk towards the academy per usual as other students pass by in pairs, makes me feel a little lonely.. I sigh and shrug it off and continue to get to the dining hall.

I entre the dining hall and see the regulars, Shuichi with seemingly a lot of paper work and Kokichi right next to him being well, Kokichi. Himiko and Angie are together chatting about something and Korekiyo is reading what seems like a very old book. I head off to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast as I normally would. Today I decide to eat something I've only had a few times, some waffles. I gather the ingredients and start cooking my waffles. Once there finished I take them to sit down at the dining hall table, I start eating them as I strike up a conversation with Shuichi "Hey Shuichi, What's all those papers for?" I say as I eat some of my waffles "It's another Murder case, this time I'm working with the other detective we met a few days ago, Kirigiri, she's a lot more experienced than I am that's for sure.." Shuichi says in a doubtful tone "That's for sure! you don't have a lot of experience in nearly anything, unless of course you count drinking liters of coffee each day." Kokichi says slapping Shuichi on the back knocking him forward with the power and surprise it brought "Wow, thanks Kokichi really helpful" Shuichi says utterly sarcastically "Your very welcome Shuichi!" Kokichi says in a proud demeaner. 

I finish my food and put my dishes in the sink and decide to go out to the courtyard to enjoy some fresh air, It seems like the perfect place to relax. "hm, Maybe I should grab a blanket to place down." I say to myself and follow through. I lay down my blanket in the courtyard and decide to just relax for once, not something I do very often. The sun is warm on my skin and the light breezes feels nice in my hair I close my eyes for a bit just to take it all in....

"Tsumugi? are you okay?" I hear a voice ask, I slowly open my eyes to the delightful sight of Kirumi! "oh Kirumi! how are you? I was just enjoying the weather today, Its quite nice today don't you think?" I say giving her a smile, she smiles back "I'm doing just fine today Tsumugi and yes, the weather is quite nice today if I do say so myself" She says to me in usual formal tone. "would you like to sit down with me? If you're not busy of course!" I ask her, She ponders for a second or two before telling me "Let me do one more thing, Ill be back soon." She says before heading off, I quietly Wait for her return.

Minutes pass and Kirumi finally arrives

"Oh Kirumi you're back! What's that in your hand?" I ask her as she walks towards me "It's a drink for the two of us to enjoy." She says holding up two bottles of iced green tea "I love Iced green tea! Is this one of your favourite beverages to?" I says as she hands me one of the bottles, I open it and take a small sip "Though I don't have sweeter beverages like these very often, I do quite like them." She says also taking a sip from her drink "Why did you decide to sit down in the courtyard Mugi?" she asks me "Well I was just kind of bored so I decided to relax a bit, I've been a little busy lately." I tell her taking another few sips from my drink "I see, If I may ask what are you busy with?" She asks "Well Miu and Kokichi have requested me to make some outfits for them, along with that a girl named Celestia Ludenburg has asked about commissioning me for an outfit. Not to mention we haven't cosplayed together yet! If I remember correctly I've finished everything." I tell her "why that's quite a few things, perhaps I could take on thing off you're list?" she tells me, what does she mean? "what do you mean Kirumi?" "well how about I finally cosplay with you tomorrow? I know we've both been busy but I think tomorrow would be a nice day. If you'd like we could even use my ultimate lab as a set." She tells me and every word intrigues me more "Kirumi that'd be great! how about you meet me at my lab at 1PM tomorrow and I can get you all prepared." Kirumi and I chat more about the finer details for tomorrow.

A/N: yes it has been almost a month since I've wrote another chapter. No motivation hits hard I'll tell you that, but don't worry this is still ongoing
