Nora sat at the breakfast table writing in her journal.
Nicolle sat in front of her.
" Good morning Nora." Nicolle smiled.
Nora looked at her and looked back down.
" Nora are you okay? " Nicolle asked.
Nora just continued to write.
" Nora-"
" Hello Nora." Hermione greeted.
" Hi." Nora replied not looking up.
" Nora why aren't you t-"
" Good morning Nora." Neville happily greeted.
" Good morning Neville." Nora greeted with a smile.
Nicolle scoffed and stood up.
" Why aren't you not speaking to me? " Nicolle yelled.
Nora looked at Nicolle.
" Is it because I said that you had a crush on Neville? " Nicolle blurted.
Nora went wide eyed and stood up angrily and walked away.
Nicolle immediately regretted what she said.
" Nicolle why'd you have to do that? " Hermione said.
Nicolle looked down in guilt.

Nora went the whole day avoiding Nicolle who was profusely apologizing.
But Nora didn't want to hear it.
She walked into herbology and sat in her seat next to Neville.
" Hello Nora." Neville greeted.
" Hi." Nora greeted back not looking at Neville.
Neville looked at her with concern.
" Are you alright Nora? " Neville asked her.
Nora nodded while still not looking at the boy.
" Are you angry with me?" He asked.
After Nora didn't answer Neville, he looked away with a saddened expression.

Nora wasn't angry with Neville.
She was embarrassed about the morning Neville just so happened to be there for at the wrong time.
The person she was angry with was Nicolle.
She couldn't believe how she'd acted.
Nora wanted to pop her head off in that moment.

She did her work and stayed quite that entire class.
Afterwards Nora quite literally ran out of the classroom and into the courtyard.
She couldn't bare to even look at Neville.
She looked around until she spotted Florence walking to her dorm.

" Hey Flo. Mind if I hang with you? " Nora asked.
" Not at all Nora." Flo said.
Nora nodded and continued to walk beside Florence.

Nora and Florence sat in the Ravenclaw common room as Nora ranted about that morning.
" And the fact that she has done nothing but deliberately pick on me and embarrass me for weeks! I am so tired of it! She doesn't think about anyone but herself! She thinks the whole world revolves around how she feels and that no one else other than her has feelings." Nora ranted as she paced around.

" What did she even say to you this morning? " Florence asked.
" She said I had a crush on Neville..." Nora said.
" So? " Florence asked.
" ..in front of everyone and Neville." Nora finished.
" Oh." Florence said.
" Yeah! And now it just feels so awkward and weird around Neville. It's like I can't talk to him without feeling embarrassed." Nora whined as she flopped down on the loveseat in front of Florence.
" Was it true? " Florence asked.
" Was what true? " Nora asked.
" What she said." Florence said.
" What?! No! Of course not, why would you even ask that? " Nora rambled.
Florence gave her a look.
Nora stood up and scoffed.
" You think I have a crush on Neville? " Nora asked.
" Well by the way you guys act around each other it's hard not to look at it that way." Florence said.
Nora sat back down with a huff.
" I'm not saying you do. But I wouldn't necessarily say I'd be surprised if you did." Florence stated.
Nora looked down and sighed.
" I don't have a crush on Neville..." Nora whispered.
" Are you telling me that? Or are you saying that to yourself? " Florence asked softly.

Suddenly Ravenclaws began coming in the common room and Nora decided to head out of the ravenclaw common room.
Nora didn't want to go to her own common room just yet so she went to the quidditch field and sat in the gryffindor podium.
She began writing in her journal and singing to herself.

" You have a pretty voice." A girl said.
Nora flinched.
" Oh dear Merlin you scared me." Nora said.
" Sorry." The girl replied.
" You're Ella Lestrange right? " Nora asked.
" Yes. The infamous daughter of the big bad Bellatrix Lestrange." Ella responded.
Nora gave a breathy laugh.
" What are you doing here all alone? " Ella asked.
" I just wanted to get away for a bit." Nora replied.
Ella nodded, understanding.
" I get it. Sometimes I just can't deal with people. Especially since everyone thinks I'm like my mother." Ella states.
" I'm sorry." Nora said.
" Your friend Florence is very nice though. She understands better than anyone how I feel." Ella smiled.
Nora smiled a sad one back at her.
" It's funny how something so simple like a last name can affect one's life so much. You're lucky. You're last name is one that is respected and not seen as one that is sinister. No one flinches when someone says the name Lupin." Ella said.
Nora went to say something back to her.
" Everyone thinks I'm gonna put the cruciatus curse on them. No one thinks of you like that. Neville Longbottom doesn't want to hurt you whenever he looks at you. If I were to tell him that I liked him right now he would probably ignore me as if I had never approached him. But if you were to tell him that he would probably pick you up and spin you around this whole castle. But for me? No one outside of Slytherin would want to be caught dead with me. You're so lucky to have what you have. So the thing from the cafeteria doesn't change anything Nora. You will never have to know what it is like to be alone and ignored." Ella said softly.
Nora was stunned.
Ella smiled at her sweetly and began to walk out of the podium.
"Oh and by the way...Longbottom has two T's not one." She stated as she walked back towards the castle leaving Nora shocked and a little embarrassed as she immediately slammed her journal shut.

A/N: Heyy I know I've been absent lately. I haven't been in the best mental state and I just lost inspiration for this story for a minute.
