Chapter 2: reunion

<Nick's pov>
I woke up this morning and texted the Paris squad because I wanted to do somthing special since charlie had
just came home.
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝 🗼

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: You guys awake??

𝐓𝐚𝗼: yeah

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐲: yup

𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚: yes Darcy's been awake since 3:00

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐲: sleep is for the weak

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: Elle??

𝐓𝐚𝗼: yeah she's still sleep cause she hasn't responded to me

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: well I want to plan something for Charlie since he just got home yesterday

𝐓𝐚𝗼: if you want it to be a surprise why say it here Charlie's in this chat?? Smh

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: tori told me his phone broke and he's not getting it fixed till tomorrow so I have time.

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐲: smart nick

𝐓𝐚𝗼: so what did you want to plan?

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: I want to plan something for charlie since he just came home from uni
𝐓𝐚𝗼: well I have a few ideas of what he wants to do

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: great give me some ideas

𝐓𝐚𝗼: he's always wanted to go to the shopping center but didn't want to go alone.

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: great I'll take charlie to the shopping center and while we're out you guys can make a welcome home banner for him.

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐲: with sweets too??

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: Charlie wouldn't eat them but you guys can get some and hopefully I can get him to try some.

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐲: yes!

𝐓𝐚𝗼: alright once Elle wakes up I'll inform her about the plan.

𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚: what time and what place do you want us to set this up?

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤: at his house, I'll text tori to tell his mom and start setting up at 2:00

I was so excited to see Charlie but I would have to drive to his house without telling him because he had no phone at the moment so I put on one of my last jumpers because charlie still had half of them and put my shoes on and walked to the door. "Where are you going, Nicky?" My mum asked. "To see charlie well be going to the shopping center so don't worry if I'm gone for a little bit love you!" I said as I walked out the door. Being 23 and passing my driver's test my dad gifted me a car as an apology gift for not making it for my birthday it doesn't fill the hole but being able to drive is cool. I drove over to Charlie's house and walked up to the porch and rang the doorbell. The door opens, "nick??" Charlie says with excitement. He looked so handsome like always but it looked like he had just gotten out of the shower but hadn't fully dried, his hair was in his face it was very damp which in my opinion was very hot. He hugged me tightly. "Hey char," I said looking down at him. "You've gotten really tall and your arms..." He said with stars in his eyes as he started squeezing my arms. "You like?" I say flexing. "Shut up." He says hitting me. Charlie's mum comes downstairs "Oh nick I didn't know you were dropping by." She says. "Well I won't be here long just came to take charlie somewhere." Charlie looks up at me "where?" He asks. "A surprise." "You know how I feel about surprises." He scoffs. He runs upstairs to grab his things. "Oh charlie before you go eat something, a snack at least." His mum says. I see the fear in Charlie's eyes when he heard those words. "It's alright Mrs spring I'll get him to eat once we get there." I smile. I see charlie sigh of relief.
