Chapter 11: Suprise

I woke up this morning to way too many messages from the group chat me,Elle,Nick,Tara,aled and Darcy have without charlie, not in a bad way though we only use it when Nick has a surprise for charlie and plus charlie knows about it and what it's for but doesn't know when we text in it.

Nick 🐕: GUYS GUYS

💞Elle:what

👾Tara:yes?

👽darcy:huh??

🐕Nick:I GOT A JOB INTERVIEW AT A PRIMARY SCHOOL NEXT MONTH AND ME AND CHARLIE GOT A APARTMENT.

🧝🏻Aled: wait that's actually amazing Nick

💞Elle: you haven't told charlie yet?

🐕Nick: No I want it to be a surprise

🦶🏻Tao: of course you do 🙄

💞Elle: stop hating Tao

🦶🏻Tao: Not hating at all

👽darcy : hating....

I just ignored their comments and put my phone on the dresser. I'm truly happy for nick and charlie I am I'm not a hater it's just all our friends relationships are hitting giant mile stones while me and Elle are the same. Tara and Darcy got engaged,Nick and charlie are moving in together, Sahar and tai had a baby and Aled and Daniel are thinking about traveling together while me and Elle are just doing the same thing all the time. What if she's bored but I don't know how to move things along it makes me look really bad that we haven't done anything big. I have no other option then to call the person in the most healthiest relationship I know, Charlie spring. I called him and the phone rang for a while but eventually he picked up "Hey tao what's up?" "Can you come over?" "What why?" "Because I need help or are you too busy?" "No no not busy at all but why?" I sigh because he's asking so many questions. "It's about me and elle." "Alright I'll be right over." And he hangs up the phone. A few minutes I fix myself and hear a knock on the door and open it to see Charlie. "Come on in." I say escorting him inside to my room. He sits on the floor and takes out his airpods "What's wrong?" He asks. "I feel guilty." I sigh flopping on my bed. "What did you do tao?" He gets stern. "Did you hurt Elle because if u did." I'm a little offended charlie thought I could ever hurt her. "What no?" "Then why do you feel guilty?" He leans in. "Well everyone else's relationships are going somewhere like u and nick moving in together, Tara and Darcy getting married soon, Sahara and tai having a baby and Daniel and aled thinking about traveling but me and Elle are just the same." I sigh. Charlie looks at me and says nothing for a bit before saying "and that's a problem because?" I'm in total shock that he doesn't see the problem. "What if she's bored." I worry. "Thats what I thought before nick went to uni but I realized he wasn't bored and wanted things to move at our own pace so u shouldn't worry about anything. And you and I both know Elle, if she wants somthing she'll tell you straight up." He laughs. I sigh "How do you and nick do it." He tilts his head a little signaling me a "what?". "How do me and nick do what?" He asks. "Just know what each other wants you guys are just so perfect while I'm struggling knowing what Elle wants when I've been with her for so long." I face palm. "Here ill tell you what." He takes out his phone. "Elles birthday is next month on the 4th which Is next week so you could throw her a party or somthing." I shoot up "that's a wonderful idea charlie your so smart!" We then start brainstorming ideas for the party and text everyone to come over to help. "So your throwing Elle a party?" Nick asks. "Yes what do you not get?" I say sarcastically. "Well she's turning 22. Charlie what did you do for your 22th birthday?" I ask. "Nothing because I'm not a big fan of the birthday thing so me and nick just watched happy death day to you." He shrugged. "And he screamed the whole time." He laughs. "I did not." Nick rolls his eyes. "Well mabey we could do a vintage tea party?" Aled suggested in a quiet tone. "Wait that sounds so cute!" Tara gushes. "Yes! Elle would love that." I put it in my notes. "Where we all dress fancy and have little scones and tea cakes with white gloves?" Nick laughs. "Yes that sounds a adorable." Charlie claps. "Well we need a location." I add. We all turn our heads to aled. "Why are you all looking at me?" He turns pale. "Your the one with a giant beautiful backyard that you don't use." Darcy snickers. "No me and Daniel take walks around there." We all give him a look. "Okay okay fine we can use my backyard. " He rolls his eyes. "Yay!" We all celebrate. The next few hours we spend planning the guest list,food and decorations. Charlie yawns because he's tired like always. "You tired char?" Nick asks. "No." He's clearly lying but nick can see right through him. "Nope were going home cmon." He gets up off the floor taking Charlie's hand. "Nickkk" He whines. "It's fine charlie we have everything planed anyways you can go." I shoo them away. "Alright then bye guys." He waves while yawning.
