chapter 5: the question

{Nicks pov}
I sit Charlie's room waiting for him to come out the shower and he always takes forever so I had time to think about how I was goint to ask him about the whole moving thing. I wasn't going to do it right away of course mabey in the middle of put time together I don't know but I know I'm going to ask him today. I look up when the door opens and see charlie in a towel. I catch myself peeping a little and my cheeks getting hot. Charlie catches me peeping. "Like what you see Nicholas??" He flares his eyebrows. I sit there still flustered while he laughs and gets dressed. He them hops on the bed and kisses me while the little droplets from his hair get on my face. I throw my phone to the side and wrap my arms around him. He then gets up and grabs his laptop. He lays on my chest while scrolling through Netflix. "Ugh! There's nothing good and I've finished everything!" He gets frustrated. "You know what I'll just re watch stranger things." He says turing it on. After a few minutes of him watching it I decided I would finnaly ask him. "Hey char." I say setting down my phone. "Yes." He turns around. "So you know how we've talked about our futures and we want to be in each other's?" I say shaking. "Yes what are you getting at nick??" He asks. "What I'm trying to say is I'm moving out soon." I run my hands through my hair. Charlie turns his whole body around. "What nick?? Your leaving and your just now telling me??" He looked so hurt. "What? No Charlie let me finish what I'm saying is I'm moving out soon to start my future and it wouldn't be complete without you in it so do you want to move with me?" I say. This was it, I was shaking wondering what his response would be. "Of course nick I would love to!" He yells with excitement and kisses me multiple times. "And don't worry I told everyone I would be doing this so your family's okay with it." I tell him. "Oh nick why are you so amazing." He says hugging me.  "Actually now that we're on the topic I've been wanting to move out for a while have you looked at any places yet?" He asks me. "Well no I haven't because I was waiting to ask you." I reply. "Well I've seen so many amazing flats that look so comfortable, looks!" He says opening up his book marked websites. "Wow char you've been searching haven't you?" I laugh. "Well yes and a flat is a nice place for people to start out in!" He keeps scrolling. "Ouu stop look at that one" I say. Charlie clicks on a 2 bedroom flat with a walk in closet. "What would we use the other room for?" He turns around. "I don't really know mabey a drum room for you?" I suggest. "Wow there's so many! How do we choose just one??" I say in amazement. "Well we have to choose multiple because some of them will get taken if we don't meet the requirements and we have alot of time so we don't have to get anything too quick." Charlie says kissing my cheek.

♤Charlie's pov♤
Being asked to move in with nick made me feel so happy. It shows that nick loves me enough to ask me to do this with him but what if he gets annoyed of me being with me everyday I can't help but think those thoughts. "Wait if we move in together can we get a dog??" I ask because I always wanted a pet but my parents have always said no and being on my own I would be able to get one of my own. "Thats not even a question or course we need one!" Nick says nuzzling into my neck. The idea of starting a life of my own with nick felt unreal. I had to tell our friends because I couldn't keep all this to myself.  "Hey we should get everyone together and hang out." I say looking at nick. "We should." He says going back to his phone. I continue looking at him. "What?" He asks. "You want me to plan it like I always do don't you?" He sighs and begins texting everyone. "There asking where do we want to hang out at." He says. "The beach mabey??" I suggest. We always go to the beach and have an amazing time each time. "They agreed to go at 1:00" He says putting his phone down. "Can we take a nap before we go?" I ask. "Of course." Nick says moving up to the headboard and rests his head waiting for me to get in his arms. I move up with him and lay on him and doze off.

{Nicks pov}
While charlie is sleep I end up watching black panther on his laptop waiting for him to wake up. Then Oliver bursts into the room, "nick I need your help big time!" He says frantically. "Shhh" I say pointing to charlie. "What is it?" I ask. Oliver sits on the floor and asks me "you were a popular rugby lad in high-school right you had girls on you left and right?" He asks. "Well yes why do you ask?" I begin getting curious. "Thats what's happening to me accept I'm just cool for doing nothing but a girl named Trina asked me out today but I don't feel the same and I dont know how to reject her." He panicked. "Hey calm down its alright and just try to talk to her one on one and tell her your not interested but whatever you do don't ever do it through text." I've always took a liking to Ollie he's been me and Charlie's little supporter from the beginning and now that he's 15 and going through high-school things I get to help him the way I wished I had help. "Thank nick!" He says rushing out the room. An hour later after I get done watching a bunch of movies it's 12:40 so I have to wake charlie up before it hits one. "Char wake up its time to get ready." I whisper. "Get ready fir what?" He yawns burying his face into my face. "The beach come on." I say stretching. He gets up and grabs his backpack and his hat. "Well cmon then." He says pulling me off the bed. He then turns to the bathroom to grab towels and sunscreen. "We can stop by the store to grab snacks and drinks" He says putting it all in his bag. "Well you sure are awake now huh?" I cross my arms. "Well I'm just really excited to tell them all the news. He smiles. I'm so happy that charlie is just as excited as I am to start this new journey in our lives and he knows alot about housing too. We then walk to the car, I open Charlie's door for him and then I start the car.
