TW: SCENES OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND NON-CONSENSUAL ATTEMPTED ACTS TOWARDS THE END. BE WARNED.
Draco's POV ~
The doorbell rang again and Harry looked up. Andromeda must have forgotten something. He made eye contact with Draco who was already halfway out of his seat. Harry raised his eyebrows quizzically. "I'll get it." Draco supplied. Harry nodded and went happily back to his pancake, stopping only to wipe some chocolate spread from Teddy's mouth.
Draco rolled his eyes as he walked down the hallway. Harry was way too invested in his pancake to do anything as trivial as open the door right now. Draco felt a small surge of pride in the fact that he had made the two so happy with just his cooking, and he had got the Teddy seal of approval. It was a brilliant day.
He looked at the door and had a bad feeling about what was on the other side and seriously debated just walking away and leaving it, maybe telling Harry that it was some sort of muggle salesperson. He considered it for some time until he heard whoever was on the other side knock again, this time more frantically. He sighed and decided to open it. Whoever was on the other side could need help or be in trouble. Draco cursed Harry's hero complex as he called it for starting to rub off on him. Harry was a bad influence.
He heaved open the door and looked at who it was in shock, his mouth slightly agape. His own surprise was mirrored back in the person's eyes, faintly accompanied by outrage. "Draco Malfoy?!?" Draco gave his signature sneer.
"Ginny Weasley. Unfortunately, you are not welcome here so-"
"Who is it, Dray?" Harry's voice rang out. Draco sighed heavily. "Harry darling you might want to come and see this for yourself." The reply that came was rather hesitant, "Uh, okay." He heard Harry come up behind him and then stop in shock at who was at the door. "Ginny. I'm afraid you're not welcome here. Draco close the door-"
"WAIT!" Ginny almost sobbed tears in her eyes. Harry stopped and looked at her. "Please, Harry, we need to talk. Please." She whispered the last word and Draco could feel Harry's resolve cracking. "Fine. Let her in Dray."
Draco reluctantly stepped aside and let her in. "Harry turned his back and walked into the kitchen, presumably to tell Teddy to come into the lounge as well. It was understandable that he wanted Teddy there, but Draco also wondered if the conversation that was to follow was suitable for ten-year-old ears. Draco shook his head but knew how much Harry needed this so grudgingly lead Ginny into one of the smaller sitting rooms, not wanting to make her feel important by putting her in the main one.
She quickly sprawled out on the biggest sofa, and Draco took a seat on his favourite armchair. It was strange how he had a favourite after being here a day, but he had found it almost straight after he got here and now felt rather attached to it.
Ginny glared at him and sent him several evil looks, but Draco chose to ignore them. Soon enough Harry walked in with Teddy in his arms. He sent a disapproving glance Ginny's way, seeing her spread out so much. He put Teddy down on one of the bean bags in the corner of the room and perched on the edge of the armchair Draco was sitting in. Draco pulled him down and onto his lap.
Harry looked a bit shocked but soon settled in. Ginny looked out outraged. "So? Why are you here Ginny?" Harry questioned her.
"Harry, please you've got to believe me, what happened with Dean was a one-time mistake. I never really loved him and I've only ever loved you, you know that. Please take me back, you can have me instead of this ugly, evil death eater." Draco felt Harry bristle and braced himself.
"No, Ginny, what you and Dean did was not a one-time thing. You carried on all through our marriage and then had his GOD-DAMNED BABY. That is not a mistake and that is a choice. I will not be taking you back and I'd take Draco over you any day, he is not evil, he is one of the kindest people I have ever known, he is not a death eater he is a healer and an angel and lastly, he is the furthest thing from ugly I have ever known in my life you vile, hateful creature."
Ginny's face quickly dropped the pleading and innocent expression, her face turning hard. "Harry, darling come on and see sense. Draco could never take care of anybody but himself, and plus Teddy needs a mother figure in his life! He can't have nobody at all Harry even you know that you aren't able to look after him on your own."
He felt his anger brewing at her but Harry was calm and collected. "You bringing my child into this just shows how childish and immature you really are Ginerva Weasley."
"Harry, come on you know how much I love you." Harry got off Draco's lap and walked toward her. Ginny got up too. "Teddy go to your room for me please," Draco asked the boy. He nodded and skipped off, leaving Draco the only witness to what was happening.
She had quickly advanced on Harry and was ow uncomfortable close to him. She squeezed her thighs together a few times and got right up to him. "Come on Harry," She whispered in a husky voice, "I can have your children. We can be together forever and I can treat you just right. You know how much you want me." Her hand had moved to his crotch and she started rubbing his trousers.
Harry was shocked into stillness out of fear and confusion, feeling lost and hopeless. Draco on the other hand was roaring with anger, his bones almost shaking. He screamed and hexed Ginny forcing her to fly backwards and hit the fall. Hard. She slid to the ground in a pile and Draco advanced on her.
"You fucking bitch." He spat at her. "How fucking dare you lay your hands on Harry. I will fucking end you. Get out."
She stood up and ran so fast that she almost flew. Draco stared after her, feeling the adrenaline start to fade away leaving him shaking uncontrollably. He turned back to Harry, needing to check he was okay and found him still standing there in the exact same place, shaking like a leaf, tears sliding down his face as he stared at the place Ginny had hit the wall.
"That's going to need a new coat of paint." He whispered, tears now free-falling. Draco shook his head and walked towards him. "May I hug you?" He asked Harry looking him in the eyes, prolonging the eye contact. Harry nodded subtlety and held out his arms like a child wanting to be picked up.
Draco swept him up and into his arms, Harry clinging on to him like he was the only thing keeping him from drowning and washing away in his own sadness. Draco clutched him tightly back, head on top of his, his own tears now plinking softly onto Harry's soft raven black hair.
"Can I join the hug?" Came a little voice. Draco laughed wetly. "Of course, you can sweetheart." Draco opened his arms and Teddy squeezed in trying to fit his arms around them both. "You're much nicer than my Auntie Ginny. I think you should marry daddy."
"Daddy?" Draco asked softly. "He calls me Uncle Harry in front of everybody else but when it's just us together it's daddy or dad," Harry murmured into Draco's chest. Draco smiled at Teddy. "Maybe one day, little man, maybe one day."
