Draco's POV ~

He really didn't want to worry Harry about what had happened but he knew that his raven would be more annoyed if he said nothing, so blood dripping from his hands onto the carpet he knocked on Harry's office door.

"Come in," said a weary voice. Obviously, the meeting that had just happened had not gone well. Draco steadied himself and entered the room, his face grave. Harry's eyes lit up when he entered but soon a mask of confusion and worry took over his face. His eyes widened when he saw Draco's hands.

"Oh my god, Draco? Is that your blood? What the hell happened?" Draco shook his head. "Yeah, it's my blood. It's fine just a shallow cut though. I'm afraid that what caused it wasn't so innocent though. Someone planted some weird device thing and it went off and chucked shrapnel everywhere." He perched on the chair on the other side of Harry's desk.

Harry on the other hand jumped to his feet. "SOMEONE PLANTED A BOMB IN YOUR HOSPITAL ROOM?!?!?" He almost yelled the words. Draco rolled his eyes. "It's not that bad raven. Honestly. I'll live." Harry looked him dead in the eyes. "You might but whoever the hell did this sure won't."

Draco saw him press a button on his desk and immediately the room was flooded with Aurors, mostly high-ranked but a few trainees who were stationed with the more experienced people. "What's up Harry- I mean sir?" The words came from a ginger man with an, in Draco's opinion, quite a pathetic attempt at a beard.

Harry stayed on his feet and surveyed the room. "A bomb went off in the medical bay about ten minutes ago. Our Healer was injured by this bomb. I want the culprit found. And quickly." A slightly dazed-looking Auror stepped forward. "A bomb? Why would anybody plant a bomb in the medical bay? That's so stupid." Hary nodded at them. "Yes, it is stupid. But somebody is against us, harming us from the inside. There is a traitor among us."

Shock crackled and fizzed in the air. "Sir we'll do our best to find and capture the culprit," Weasley stood tall and said. Harry nodded. "I'm sure you will. Now GO." The Aurors fled the room, presumably to begin to look for the culprit. harry sat back down.

"Well, that's that. How's your hand. Here put it on the table." He cleared a space in the overflowing papers. "Ouch that doesn't look shallow, It looks kind of deep actually."

Draco shook his head. "It's shallow I assure you, Potter. It's why it's bleeding so much. Much deeper than this and it wouldn't bleed so much actually. Anyway, it's fine I'm just glad nobody else got hurt. Imagine if someone else, someone sick or injured had been in the room at the time. They could have been seriously injured."

"How did you only get hurt this much?"

"Well it would have been worse, but when it went off I was literally just sitting down behind a divider, and I reached my hand out to grab something, so only my hand was injured."

Harry nodded but still look upset. "Well, it won't happen again. Let's go have a look."

They both stood up and Harry took the lead, Draco following closely behind. Harry opened the door and filtered in. He stopped directly in front of the door and Draco had to gently shove him out of the way. "There's no damage done to the room?" He asked. Draco shook his head. "I forgot to say, I thought it was peculiar too. How come it only affected me and not everything else? It makes no sense."

"Did you have a patient in here today?" Draco gave him a funny look. "What? No literally only one of the trainees who got hit by a headache hex during training, came to see if I had anything to help. I gave them muggle paracetamol and sent them on their way. they were here for maybe ten minutes."

"So they weren't here long enough to get flowers." Draco looked at Harry as if he had lost his mind. "No, obviously not, no one gets flowers for a paracetamol raven. It would be silly, ludicrous even."

"Then who do those belong to?" Harry asked pointing towards where a beautiful, exotic bouquet of flowers was now sitting. Draco stared in amazement. They had definitely not been there earlier on, even when he had left. "I don't know, but look they have a card. I'll check. Even though I've definitely not had a patient stay more than half an hour. Definitely, no one to warrant flowers."

He approached them carefully. As he drew closer he realized how enticing and intoxicating the smell of them was. "Huh." He walked briskly away and put a medical mask on, again walking towards the flower. Harry was giving him a weird look. "I'm not taking any risks." He explained.

He reached out for the card and snagged it off the branches. he then walked briskly away and took a seat on his chair. He pulled on some gloves and carefully extracted the card. He immediately and meticulously cast every spell he could think of to make sure the card was safe.

Harry watched him in wonder.

Eventually, when he was sure it was safe he picked up the card and opened it. The writing inside said:

My Beloved Draco Malfoy,

You are the light of my life, the stars to my darkness the hope in the hopeless.

Won't you be mine for now and forever, my beautiful king?

All my love

Your true love and soulmate.

Draco dropped the card in disgust. "Do they not know Harry's my true love and soulmate? Even if we aren't together yet. Well, we basically are." He muttered. "Pardon Dray?" Came Harry's voice. He sounded incredibly concerned. "It's nothing love. Just some stupid secret admirer.

He walked over to the flowers and picked them up before promptly dropping them and the card straight into the bin. He then looked around the room. "Well it seems to me that I'm ready to practice again, what do you say?" Harry nodded his head in agreement. "If I do say so myself Dray."

Just as the words left his mouth the door burst open and an Auror stumbled in clutching his hand and swaying. "Oh please! Oh, save me please!" The man fell over but quickly got up and swooned a few times. He seemed in serious danger.

Harry and Draco shared a quick glance of horror and shock, before both descending on the man and carrying him to one of the several medical cots. Draco rolled his sleeves up and started to talk to the bloke. "Well, what's happened. Tell me or I can't help you!" Harry hovered uneasily and with great nervous tension until the blonde shot him a look to say 'bugger off.'

The man wailed and screeched and Draco let out a sigh before casting his own diagnosing spell.

'Coffee burns to the hands.'

Draco exploded with more force than the bomb had.

"You stupid man! How dare you come in here wailing and screeching, when you had merely slightly burnt your hands by your own clumsiness! Good god, you are an Auror and you can't even handle your coffee. Harry, you should fire him on the spot!" Draco scolded the man. "How old are you? Because if you're older than the age of 16 you really have no right to be screaming and crying this way! People could have died if they were here in critical condition and I had to stop looking after them because of you and you're silly little self. You have something I can not help you with and that is ignorance so therefore I demand you leave this room and not return unless you are about to be taken by death into the light, or at least at death's door."

The man rose to his feet and fled muttering, "Damn Healers, can't even heal my stupid hands."
