Cassandra Daniels lived a normal life with her mother and father, well, that is until 2 weeks before her 11th birthday. Now she will need to become stronger than her housemates to overcome the prejudices thrown at her not only for being a muggle-born but also for being a Slytherin. Clearly the entire school is against her for one thing or another.

First of all I need to start with a disclaimer :

I do not own any of the characters aside from Cassandra and Ophelia, nor do I own the main story-line that my story loosely follows. aside from that, it belongs to JK Rowling

Now that's over I do want to make it clear that this book is not about Draco Malfoy. While he is an important part in this story, the actual story is about her being a muggle-born in slytherin and what she goes through to earn her place and destroy the typical pure-blood stereotypes as implied in the description. I need to say this to avoid any confusion about his name in the story title. The story is about her and her growth over her time in school.

Another thing is that i'm not a regular uploader and I want to stress to you now how sorry I am if I suddenly stop uploading. if you have read any of my other stories I haven't uploaded to that one in a long while. I know that doesn't seem very organised of me but at the same time I am not being paid for this and I am only writing now because I enjoy it and because i'm really interested in this particular story-line. I am not going to pressure myself to upload something that I no longer find joy writing. I am, however, incredibly sorry if this disappoints any of you or has already disappointed anyone who got halfway through my second book.

There will be a small time jump just to get the story moving a little. Just to make it more interesting. The first few chapters are intended to set up the story a little, introduce certain characters and how these characters will fit into Cassandra's story. Going to Diagon Alley also just happens to be my favourite part.

I would also like to make it clear that I do not pretend to be a good writer. I do try my best but this is something that I want to enjoy. I am incredibly excited to see where this book will go.
