This time we have TWO winners: outofthelabyrinth with Devil's Lament (a love story about the Devil and an angel) and Autumn166 with Winds of Egypt (a unique friendship between a mummy and a girl). I'll post the links to each in the comments.

Title: Devil's Lament

Author: outofthelabyrinth

Genre: One-shot

Excerpt: He wouldn't be good or sane for anything in the entire world, not even for her love. But that's exactly what made her love him so.

Title: Winds of Egypt

Author: Autumn166

Genre: One-shot

Excerpt:A pale ray of sunlight creeps in through a crack in the boarded-up windows of the dusty museum. Inside his dark, narrow case, a dusty old mummy drifts in and out of a fitful slumber.

Neferu can see the cold white light shimmering through the crack in his sarcophagus. He wishes his bone-frail arms were strong enough to lift the heavy lid, but they are much too put of practice. In fact, the only thing he has done with his arms since the day of his death was scratch tally marks into the case to mark to passing time. He has long since run out of space.

Note: The book Winds of Egypt is in is a compilation of unrelated short stories. This story is the first of them.

I hope you'll enjoy the stories as much as I did! Please don't forget to support their authors with a vote or by writing them a comment :)
