It is my and seawaneka's greatest pleasure to announce that the winner of our December Short Story Contest is...

ShrizuMuteecho with A Myth About Belief!

A Myth About Belief is an imaginative, filled with mythological elements short story about faith. It will take you on an adventure that you'd want to join and you won't be able forget.

Honorable mentions go to (in no particular order):

- Smile (part of Death's Contest Entries) by HSH_DeathStar

This short story is about the consequences of truth and how sometimes what we think we want is preventing us from noticing the good things we already have. WARNING: The story includes non-detailed violence and might not be suitable for younger readers.

- Sweet Nothings by BindingTies

An absolutely engaging and shocking tale of a lost, broken heart. This story was well-written, the imagery incredibly vivid, and the concept surprisingly creative. We dare you to read this one and see if your own heart can resist it!

- Loophole by tamoja

This sci-fi short story has many fascinating elements: twins that reveal their love for each other in simple, engaging words and actions, a sinister plot that casts a shadow over the lives of the characters and a fierce protagonist who is determined to overcome obstacles by taking fate into her own hands! While this works as a complete short story, this could also be the exciting start of an awesome novel.

The links to all stories are in the first comment. The one to the winning story is also given as an external link.
