Alex's POV

Buzz buzz

Buzz buzz

Buzz buzz

This buzzing sound was becoming more and more annoying and persistent. So much so that one certain freckled man raised his head from his pillow.

Alex looked at his phone to check the time only to find about a hundred messages.

All from Perrie.

Most of them were only letters, scattered around texts. As he scrolled up he saw that they were whole words into text first. And before that whole sentences.

He found the first one.

'What's your address??'

Alex rubbed his eyes. It was 4 in the morning, much too early for any use of his brain.

Why did she need his address all of a sudden?

His phone started ringing in his hand

"Are you awake yet?" not even a hello at this bloody hour.

"You made sure of it." his voice was hoarse from sleep.

"Good

So

What's your address?"

"Perrie, why do you need my address?" he rubbed his face trying to wake up enough to understand what they were saying

"Aren't you on a flight?"

"Just answer the question sotonian."

Alex gave his address and he heard Perrie repeating it to him.

"Okay I'm actually close. I'll come over in 15 minutes, 20 tops."

Alex shook his head and cleared his throat "Babe, you're in New York." He stated

"You sound really hot when you're confused and groggy from sleep." Alex barely realized what she said. "I've landed, I'm in Los Angeles. I'm coming over."

"You're coming here?" he clarified.

"Yes, just for a while I'll have to go back. Is that okay?" she sounded unsure for the first time during the phone call

"No, no" Alex rushed to respond. But he tried to also get up and he got tangled on the sheets in result he fell from the bed with a thud.

He groaned.

"Okay let me get ready, I was sleeping."

"I figured you were, sotonian."

"Okay I'll be there in 15."

As soon as the call ended, the race had started for Alex.

He ran to the toilet brushing his teeth and washing his face as fast as he possibly could.

He didn't have time to think about his clothing options, he threw on his favourite jumper but he was hesitant if he should appear in front of her in shorts or he should look better. After all they hadn't seen each other for a week.

He needed to show her that he was worth the wait.

He looked at the clock.

Only five minutes to spare and he and Matt hadn't cleaned up the living room.

Dismissing the idea of jeans altogether Alex ran to the living room and started gathering the pizza boxes and beers.

Georgie had gone to a trip in Miami for a few days so they were alone and unfortunately for him they had decided that cleaning was optional.
