"Hurry up Ox, we still got a lot to do."

"You know Georgie, I'd be moving faster if I didn't carry all this stuff on my own." Alex was holding four shopping bags in one hand and he couldn't even remember how many he had on his other.

His best friend was back from her latest trip and she had requested some hanging time with Alex. 'It's been criminally too long, Ox.' She had claimed. So they had arranged for a trip to the mall.

Alex wasn't the biggest fan of shopping but he wasn't as against it as Matt, who refused to step into a mall was. And with him wanting to have a good sense of style and Georgie's opinion, their shopping trips were their thing.

"Use your big boy muscles now, Alex. Let's go, I have the perfect idea for the gift." Georgie picked up her pace and Alex dropped his head and followed her.

Perrie's birthday present was the main objective of this trip other than catching up.

It had already been July and despite Perrie not having any social media, Alex had remembered. His sandancer hadn't mention it for the last couple of weeks and although Alex had made some subtle references she chose to let them go.

He bet she was just checking to see if he would remember and he wouldn't disappoint.

"We've already said no to any form of clothing and jewelry so where are we even going?" Alex whined. He had headed to a clothing store searching for the perfect dress for her. That was his initial idea. But his friend shot that down immediately. 'It's too early for clothes, you're most likely get something that doesn't fit her anyway.'

Alex had huffed but agreed and moved on to plan b; jewelry.

"Haven't you been dating only for three weeks?" Alex had nodded "Isn't that too soon for jewelry?"

After that Alex couldn't think of something he could get her for her birthday.

Something meaningful, special, but that didn't show he had fallen too hard and would scare her away.

While they were thinking Georgie took care of her shopping list and now it was all Alex.

"I think you're gonna like it Alex, it's..." Georgie's sentence was left unfinished once they took the next turn.

The entire area of the mall was filled with people. Alex wondered if they would even be able to pass that part.

"What's all this commotion? Alex asked. He noticed that the majority of the people were young girls and women and they were loud.

"Probably some artist having a signing, that music store always does that. Have you seriously never run into one?" Georgie seemed unbothered.

"I only come to malls with you, G. Besides there's not even a poster for the event. How was I to know?"

"It's a special secret event, dumbass. Only guests could come."

"What?" Alex was dumbfounded by this stranger person suddenly talking to them.

It was a teenage girl wearing a shirt with a dark skinned girl with curly hair and what Alex assumed was a concert outfit.

"Little mix chose 100 of their most loyal American fans for this signing, and I'm one of them. Can you believe it?" The girl was rambling "I can't wait till I meet them all."

"Leigh is my favourite but I absolutely love them all and I can't wait to meet her or Jade or P-" she screamed next, never finishing her sentence.

"That's Liz, she's my bestie on twitter, I can't believe we'll talk irl." her latest statement was said while the girl was running towards her friend.
