*cliché news reporter music*

"Breaking news in the city of Musutafu. As U.A opens their doors once again to welcome in new and old students, ready to become heroes of the nation, they also welcome new faculty! We're only halfway through the week, but it has been reported and confirmed that U.A now has two knew additional teachers: All Might and Alchemi!"

"I have to say, Kyoko-san, it's one thing for Alchemi to resurface again as a teacher of all things! Not even maybe three years into her pro-hero career, and already education the youth of new pro-heroes! But to have All Might as your teacher, that's wild! What an honor to learn from the number one hero in Japan."

"Sato-San you are correct! Although there have been rumors of All Might's motivations as to why he's there as a teacher. Is he looking for a successor? One lucky student to become the next number one hero?"

"Ha-ha, well isn't that every kid's dream these days, Kyoko-San."

"More on these two new faces at U.A., one of our reporters was able to grab a quick word from Pro-hero- Pro-teacher *ha-ha* Alchemi."

*Cue video of Alchemi's face with a reporter's microphone in front of her.*

"Alchemi, could you tell us your reasons for abandoning your post as a pro-hero?"

*Zoom in on Alchemi's expressionless mask*

"...I'd like to clarify that there was no abandoning my post. I will return as a pro-hero in the future. While that hasn't been specifically determined, I will."

"What are your reasons for taking up teaching? Do you think you have enough experience under your belt to be educating the new generation?"

"Just like any job, I will take this teaching job seriously. But just like any other job as well, even if I will be teaching the kids, I will be learning alongside them. This is a growing experience for all of us."

"Do you have any additional words for us?"

"No. If you'll excuse me, I need to get to my classes... Also, please do not haggle the students as they enter the school. If you have questions, pester the adults. Thank you."

*Alchemi bows her head and walks away, past the gates into U.A.*

Yurina strode into her office, feeling disgruntled.

"Reporters are so annoying." She grumbled, opening her laptop. "Abandoning my post? Ugh. Trying to make me look like the bad guy or something." Yurina settled in her seat. Wednesday was her slowest day, office hours open for students to come in and talk. Yurina leaned back in her seat, pushing her foot against her desk, spinning slowly around.

Monday had been a successful day. Yurina ran classes –all three –perfectly. At least as perfectly as perfect got.

"I'll take attendance" Yurina read down the seating chart that Aizawa had given her that morning. "Aoyama Yuga?"

Attendance went smoothly, save for a few students that couldn't look up properly without blushing. But Yurina pressed through. Seeing how stunned everyone was, Yurina decided to get the big questions out of the way.

"If anyone has any questions before we start," Yurina said, resting her hands on the teacher's desk. "I'll be glad to answer them." The students exchanged looks with one another. Finally, a boy's hand in the front row shot up.
