Chapter 22

I sit down at the table and make my plate. I could feel the tension between Lukas and Aiden. Jesse just sat there eating without a care in the world. I try to break the silence. "Hey Jesse has Axel and Olivia left yet?" He nods stuffing more food in his mouth. I stand up with my plate in my hand. My appetite suddenly lost. "Im going to eat later." Placing my plate in the fridge, I leave the room to go upstairs. Going into my closet I grab some underwear. I grab some clothes and lay then out on my bed I head downstairs with my towel to take a shower. "Hey Jess im heading over to Petra's she wanted to talk about something." Jesse says walking out the door. I turn on the shower water and step in. I lather my wash cloth in soap and wash my body. I wash my hair mentally cursing myself for getting shampoo in my eye. I wrap myself in a towel before exiting the bathroom. I see Lukas in the living room and Aiden in the kitchen. "Hey Lukas, see if Gil wants to hang out today." I say to him before heading upstairs. On my way up I receive a glare from Aiden. I close and lock my door and get dressed. I put on some lotion and spray some perfume. I put on my clothes and decided I want my hair half up today. I apply some mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss. I very rarely show this much skin but its very hot today. I go downstairs. "Hey Lukas I'll be-what are you doing here?" I stand at the steps as Lukas is laying on the couch but Maya is here and sitting with Aiden. "Oh hi Jessss, Aiden told me that you and Lukas would be leaving soon so I came to keep him company. You don't mind do you." she says rubbing his thigh. I shrug my shoulders and go to the bathroom to look at my overall outfit. Turning around I head back upstairs as I see Aiden starring at me from behind. I close my eyes as tears threaten to fall from them. "Let it out Jessica." No. I quickly turn around and scan my room of him. Not seeing him I turn back around only to jump in fear as he's starring at me through my mirror. "Why keep up all that built up rage? Why keep letting him hurt you when you can end this all now." He says. I try taking the ring off as I feel it burning my hand. "What are you doing? Make it stop." He chuckles. "It's too late jess, give in. I know your tired of his games. Him constantly making a fool of you. He even had the nerve to invite his ex into your home. Enough is enough." I stop fighting. Maybe he's right. I see a smile forming on his face. "Good. You finally realize how worthless that boy was to you. Join me Jess, be my partner. We don't have to get married. Hell you don't have to do anything if you don't want to. What do you say?" I look up at the mirror and he isn't there he's right behind me. I'm starring at myself. My normal brown eyes are replaced with white ones. "Your ring gave you some abilities. Once you got them you loose the color in your eyes." He tells me while looking at me through the mirror. "Fine I'll join you. Just leave my brother out of it." He nods while extending his hand. Hesitantly I shake it. "You'll be seeing me soon." He says then disappearing. I put on some sunglasses before heading down stairs. I get pulled in the kitchen. Before I can even speak a hand covers my mouth. "It's me, Lukas." He uncovers my mouth. "What's with the pulling?" He shakes his head. "Can we go to your room? The both of them are making me mad uncomfortable. Also to be honest It's weird he can do this in your presence." I nod. He goes up the stairs. I grab a bottle of water. "Jess?" I turn around to see Aiden leaning against the doorframe. "What are you and Lukas going to go do?" I shrug. He takes a step. "I'm sorry. Please can we go back to the way it was." I saw the sincere look in his eyes but my mind wasn't allowing me to forgive him. "I'll think about it. And besides your date is in the living room waiting on you." He pulls me into a hug. "Please, i can't live like this. I need you. I promise I didn't call her over." A knock at the door broke us. "Jess there's some weird red man at your door." Romeo comes in scans the room with eyes finally resting on me. "You idiot. Do you have any idea what you've done." He yells as I walk away. "Yes, now leave." I tell him. I try to go out side but he steps in my way. "Jess please think about this. Your just thinking on a broken heart." I grip my hair. "Gosh just move." I get frustrated and slam him against the wall. "Everyone just shut up!" My glasses fall off and he gasps. "You can either let me leave or I leave with a fight. The choice is yours." I drop him and he stares down at me. "Do what you want its your funeral." He says passing me. Just as im about to finish leaving the house Aiden and Romeo grabs my hands. "Let me go!" They're thrown back against the wall. Herobrine is waiting at the end of the way with a portal. "Romeo haven't we talked about this. No hands on her." He says. I turn around to see Jesse, Romeo, Lukas, Maya and Aiden starring at me. "Jess, please no." I look at my brother with a sad, apologetic face. "See you when its time to fight." I tell him. "Your leaving with the enemy?" I look at Maya. "I slept with one. I see no problem here." I smile. "Good job Aiden you got what you wanted. Me, your ex, redemption. But jokes over, my turn will be played next." I tell him as I follow Herobrine through the portal.
