Chapter 12

Jesse pov.

So we got lost in the woods. How? I have no clue. We ended up waking up to a creeper inside the hut, ran out and ran to different locations. I don't know about them but I forgot the way I came. So now I'm just wandering around hoping to find my way out or back to them. Luckily it's still early so the sun isn't really shining directly in here yet. I believe I started hallucinating last night. While sleeping I could've sworn I heard Jess screaming or yelling. I don't know. This forest is weird. I've been wandering around for about an hour. I don't think they could've gotten too far. In the corner of my eye I catch something red moving. Cautiously I walk up to the figure that turns out to be another human. "Hey have you-" just as I ask the question he turns around and instantly backs away. "Hello jesse." Admin smirks and waves. "How are you here." I step forward a frown finding it's way across my face. He chuckled. "You might not believe it but I helped your sister escape but I lost her in the woods. I ran into the blonde boy but he screamed and ran off." Normally I wouldn't have believed him but right now I'll take any little bit of hope. "Anyways every once in a while I'll get sense that she's close and go in that direction but then it get fuzzy and disappear again." He says walking away. "Well? Are you coming?" I follow him as we walk. "So how did you find Jess?" I ask him. "We pause as we hear a loud screech. He laughs at the sound. "That sister of yours is a tease." I frown my eyebrows. "But after she rejected me a couple times I decided to leave her alone until I overheard Herobrine's plans for an heir. Even I thought that was a little far. So I decided to help her escape. We did, ran into the woods and got separated. And here I am now. Lost one twin and found another." I roll my eyes. "So what do you mean by wanting an heir?" He looks over. "Jesse.....there's only one way to get a blood heir." I look down. I knew the only way too. I just can't imagine that thought without getting pissed. "Atleast she escaped." He pats my back. He walks ahead of me. Maybe Admin's right. She DID escape. She may not be in the best shape but she's alive that's all that matters. He starts shouting. "JESSICA!.......JESS!...JESS!" I wince as I step on what I thought was a rock but actually an earring, Jess's earring. I look around for any sort of direction and I find a area with broken twigs and branches leading down a hill, indicating she fell. "Hey Adm- oh you found Aiden great." I wave to Aiden as he waves back. "As I was saying I believe Jess fell down this hill. I stepped on her earring and the only sign of her being here is that way." Aiden steps forward. "Are you sure?" I nod. Going towards the hill he slides against it going down, me and Admin follow. Once we land we look around. "Now that I notice we're getting closer towards the end of the forest." Aiden looks over to Admin. "Why are you helping us? Aren't you supposed to be the bad guy." He chuckles. "I could say the same thing about you." He mumbles some things under his breath. "Yea why are you helping us." I ask him. He shrugs. "Some things go too far. I couldn't sit back as I witnessed something this horrible happen. Even bad people have limits." I nod. We look up as we approach what seems to be an abandoned house. A loud horn went off and we all went silent. All of a sudden we fell into a hole. "What the hell?" We feel around for a entrance when suddenly the room starts to feel up with water slowly. "Shit, shit, shit. HELP! HELP!" We all start screaming for help. "Guys, guys, stop. Save your breath. No one's coming. We're in the middle of the woods." They stop struggling. "Before I die, Jesse I have to tell you something." I turn towards him. "I am madly in love with your sister." Admins eyes grow. "Dude are you trying to die faster?" Aiden raises his eyebrow. "What are you- agh." Suddenly I find myself strangling him as Admin tries to break us up. "Guys?" We all pause and look up. "Lukas!" I release Aiden. "Lukas do you think you could find us a rope or a way out of here." He nods. For a few minutes it's quiet the water has gotten up to our chests. A end of a vine is swung down. Admin climbs up first, then Aiden and finally me. But I'm met with a surprise. Along side Lukas is my baby sister. I start crying. She runs over to hug me. "Jesse! I thought I'd never see you again." Jess says while hugging me tightly. I continue crying. I have never felt this relieved before. So much built up emotions. I had lost my other half, my twin. The person who looks exactly like me. The only other family I have. I thought was gone forever. "Come on. Let's go home I have a compass leading me out of here." I nod. I wipe my eyes. "Any of you say a word of me crying I will fight you one on one." We walk for a moment unto Aiden breaks the silence. "Hey Lukas how did you find Jess?" He laughs. "I don't get what's so funny Lukas." Jess says between grits of her teeth together. "I was running from a trap I set off and not paying attention I ran smack dead into Jess and she fell down the hill and I landed on her. I got beat up but we walked away to finish getting out of here and then we heard yells for help. Found you guys and here we are." I nod. "So that was your girly scream we heard." Lukas looks at Aiden as Jess starts laughing. "Yes it was." I look towards him. "I'm still stuck on the part of you getting beat up by a girl." We all laugh as Lukas speeds up to get away from us and our teasing. We reach the end of the forest just as night came. We all work together to get shelter, Jess had food and water in her bag. Admin came back with sticks and lit them on fire for our warmth. "Wait. Why didn't you just light a fire to draw their attention?" He shrugs. "Hey Jess could I talk to you for a moment... in private?" She gets up and follows Lukas. "So who's first to keep lookout?" Admin raises his hand. "I'll go first. And I think Jess should go last or second to last. So she could get enough sleep." I raise an eyebrow. "Are you going soft on me?" He grunts. "As if. I actually enjoy Jessica's presences." Just then a sad Lukas and a annoyed Jess comes back. "Hey guys Admin said he'll go first in keeping watch and Jess you'll go last so you could sleep better." She goes into the tent. "Fine by me." And with that she goes to sleep. We all go inside the tent to sleep. But I noticed Aiden sleeping closer to Jess. Lukas noticed and got mad. I roll over and close my eyes. I'm just happy my sisters back. Next stop home.
