Chapter 25

Im currently siting on Aiden's bed. Am I falling for him, yes. Am I going to pursue something, maybe. For now I just want someone to talk to. With him wanting to do anything to be back present in my life he'll listen. "So now I don't know what to do." I exclaim. I rub my fingers on my forehead while closing my eyes. "You seem like your really stressed, more stressed than usual." I nod to him. Lately after what Romeo told me I really haven't been to sleep. I went to Jesse for advice a couple days ago but he surprisingly didn't know what to do either. I cant sleep with the thought that me closing my eyes might be my last. Looking around his room I kick my shoes off and fall back into his bed. "Im taking a nap." I tell him. I close my eyes. He lays behind me. I scoot against his front and wrap his arm around me. Just because im going to sleep with him doesn't mean anything.

A couple hours skipped

"Ahhhhh!" I bump my head against Aiden's as we jumped at the sound. Maya was in the room glaring down at us. I roll my eyes. Stretching I sit up in the bed and adjust my shirt that was messed up. "What the hell Maya?" Aiden says rubbing his eyes. "We have even been apart a week and your already sleeping with someone." He rubs his temple. "For the last time. We were never together. Me and Jess didn't even sleep together. Besides if we did it wouldn't be the first time." With that being said her face gets as red as a tomato. She stumps out of the room. "And you told her that because?" I ask him. "She needs to know what we had before is done. She was just a one time thing. And a mistake." He says looking at the floor. He sighs while rubbing his hands through his head. I look at my phone to see some missed calls from Jesse. "Hey I'll be right back." I tell him. I call Jesse and head downstairs. "Hello?" I smile. "Hey bro you call?" I ask him. "Yeah, we're having a formal dinner Thursday night and I'd like for my baby sister to be there." I walk around the kitchen. "Sure I'll be there." I hear some sounds in the background. "Good see you at 6 then." With that he hangs up. I put my phone back in my pocket and go upstairs. "Hey Aiden. It's getting late I have to head back home." His smile leaves. "You have to leave so soon?" I nod. "Could you stay the night?" I rub my arm. "Please? I could sleep on the floor or couch." He looks at me. "Sure just let me go get some clothes." He nods. I close my eyes to teleport to my room. Once I'm there I grab some clothes and pjs and all my other necessities I'll need. "Leaving?" I jump as I didn't notice Herobrine in my room. "I'm just going to a hotel for the night. I just need to clear my head." He blinks. "Hm. I could've gotten a maid to clear a guest room for you for a night." He says while folding his arms. "It's fine. Besides the room is already booked." I say while zipping the bag. "Hmp, ok." With that he leaves my room. I let out a breath. I close my eyes and teleport back to Aiden's. I set my bag down on his dresser. "I'm going to go take a shower real quick." He nods. I grab my milk and honey body wash and my nightgown and head to the bathroom. I wash up and throw on my nightgown. I fold my clothes and lay them next to my bag. "What's with the dress?" I turn halfway around. "It's a nightgown and Herobrine filled my closets with dresses and gowns instead of my regular clothes and pajamas." I tell him. "Want to watch a movie?" He nods. I climb in bed next to him. It's ironic how I said I wouldn't speak to him anymore but look at me now. He put on home alone. "So Jesse's having a dinner Thursday and I want you to come with me. Be ready by 5:45 it formal." I tell him. It's the middle of November. There isn't snow outside but it is cold. "So how does the powers work?" I shrug. "All I can really do is teleport, lift small things and create tiny fires. Haven't really mastered much except teleportation. But I'm slowly getting there. See?" I create a small fire with my hand. He nods. "I'm supposed to be able to produce more fire and lava, lift heavy things, and teleport farther. At least my eyes went back to their normal brown." I tell him. "Sometimes I wish I could go back to before the witherstorm you know? Before all the problems. Back when I was stress free and my biggest concern was sabotaging you guys projects." He looks at me. "Wait, wait, wait......that whole time it was you? I always thought it was Gil messing up stuff. Wow." I laugh. "Yea Jesse would literally leave me to the mischief. He always had your attention and since I was small for a long time he'd leave me in charge of messing with whatever you guys had planned." He laughs. "All these years it was you who messed up everything." I get out of bed. "I'll be back I'm going to find a snack." I go downstairs and raid Lukas's fridge and pantry. Settling on some popcorn I head back upstairs once it's popped. "Hey I found popcorn is that good?" He sticks up a thumb. I get back into the bed and we eat the popcorn. Once the movie's over I stretch and fall out of bed. "Here." He pulls me up. I get weak at his touch. He helps me back into the bed. "I-uh-have to get ready for tomorrow. I'll see you later Jess." With that he practically runs out of the room. I lay down and wonder what happened till I fall asleep.
