Chapter 6

"I know Jesse I'll be fine." I roll my eyes. I'm currently sitting on the couch watching tv and trying to ignore Jesse. I hear the door opening and closing. "And you! Don't you even think about getting within five feet of her. I will know." He yells pointing at Aiden. "Where are you going?" I glare at Aiden for asking that question. "Well if you should know. I'm taking my beautiful girlfriend on a date and staying at her house for a night." Aiden nods then goes in his room. Jesse opens the door. "Jess please be careful and if anything happens call me." I nod and lock the door after him. "Aiden! Get out here!" He rubs his eyes. "Why are you yelling? I'm literally a room away from you." I give him a blank stare. I motion for him to follow me. I head into my room and close the door. I go to Netflix and hand him the remote. I go down stairs and get some snacks. 2 water bottles, 4 cans of pop(soda), some popcorn, candy, and a bag of chips. I set the snacks on my bed and go into my closet to change into a tank top and some shorts. "So Aiden what are we watching?" I peak from around the door. "How do you feel about scary movies?" I gulp. "S-sure." I walk out and go to my dresser and began rummaging around in one of the drawers. I feel myself blushing as I realize Aiden was staring at me. After finding what I needed I head back to my bed and sit down beside Aiden. "Can I ask you a question?" I ask him. I wait on his response. At first I thought he was looking at me only to find out he was staring at my breast. "Aiden!" He snaps out of his trance. "I said can I ask you a question." He nods. "Have you ever had a real kiss?" He stares for a minute. "No, I don't think so." We go back to watching the movie. After 10 minutes in he grabs my face and kisses me. Surprised at first but I quickly melt into it. He pulls back and stare at me. He leans back in and so do I. I never expected to be locking lips with the enemy and liking it. I feel his hands rubbing and slowly making their way up my shirt. I wrap my arms around his neck as we adjusts so that I'm sitting in his lap. He makes his way to kissing my neck. "Mmm." A large boom is heard from the distance. Quickly, we fix our hair and I straighten my shirt. I grab my shoes and put them on as I'm running out the door. We meet up with Petra and Jesse and try to maneuver through the now growing crowd. "Excuse me! Coming through! Ow!" While moving through the crowd I get elbowed in the stomach. Eventually we make it through. There's a big crater and down in it was a single note being held down by a diamond sword in a pink bow. The word Jessica was in graved into the side. "Were there any bystanders when this occurred? If so please go talk to Jesse. Everyone else I need you in your homes now! Starting tomorrow there will be a curfew until otherwise. If anyone has questions, comments or concerns there will be a meeting tomorrow at 1pm at the beacon." There's murmur in the crowd as 99% of them makes there way to their homes. I slide down into the crater. I look around to see if I can find any clues. "Find anything?" I look up. "Hey Lukas, but no." I rub my hand against a grey, powdery substance. "Gunpowder, but that's it." I wipe the substance off. "Soooo Jess got any plans this weekend?" I look at him. "Actually she does." I look up and see Aiden. Lukas looks at him, then at me, then back at him. "Is there something going on between you two?" I laugh. "No." "Yes." We look at each other. "Yes." "No." I glare at Aiden. "Ugh there's nothing going on between us yet. Well there was earlier-." I pinch him so he shuts up. I climb out of the hole and go over to Jesse. "Axel and Olivia will be here tomorrow afternoon." I nod. "So did anyone see anything?" He shakes his head. "Everyone's saying they only saw a man in black. They couldn't see the face." I nod. "What's that on your neck?" He tries to get a better view and I move away. We did this three or four times before I walk away covering my hickey with my hair. I walk away going towards my house. "So Jessica you like my present? A sword for my warrior." I continue walking. "Firstly leave me alone. I only agreed to this stupid arrangement so you'd leave my brother, friends and my boy- I mean Aiden alone." He grabs my hand and roughly pull me through a portal. "Look around you Jessica. This could all be yours." I look around the large house. The sight is breathtaking. And my clothes. My hair in long curls, my overalls replaced with a long red and gold ball gown, my boots replaced with red heels, and my mother's hair clip was replaced with a diamond tiara. I looked like a princess but did not feel like one. "All you have to do is join me Jessica. Together we can rule the world and expand to other worlds using the enchanted flint and steel. With the command block, all of Minecraftia will be at our fingertips!" I shake my head taking off my tiara and throwing it across the room. "No this is wrong!" I start to rip apart the dress, kicking off my heels. His eyes beam like the light of a beacon. He snaps his fingers and chains are around my ankles and wrists. "Fine you'll be my bride one way or another. He snaps again and I'm in a room. "This is where you'll live. Everyday your food will be brought to you. There is a bathroom over there. Your personal and hygiene items will be brought to you the first day of every month. So get comfortable. Once were married you'll be injected with a enteral serum. You'll live forever by my side and the ring you'll have will prevent you from leaving me. Goodnight now. And there will be no sex or affection before marriage." He leaves the room and the chains disappear. I sit on the bed and take in the surroundings. It's a nice room. It's big, there's a bookshelf and I have a large bed with a canopy and white blankets. The bed is soft along with the white carpet. I have a walk in closet filled with dresses of all sorts and a large bathroom. I lay down and snuggle into the bed. If I'm going to escape I'll need all my sleep and energy.
