"Bradley," Evanna whispered the following morning. "Bradley." He hadn't even flinched.

Cursing him for being such a heavy sleeper, she reached over and pinched his nose shut and waited a few seconds. When she realized he stopped breathing, it was too late because Bradley shot up from the bed, head butting her in the process. "Okay, ouch."

"What the hell Eve?" Bradley panted out in shock. "Are you trying to kill me?" Evanna pushed his face back into the pillow.

"You sleep like a log," she teased. "Get up, I want to go to the beach."

"Can't it wait?" Evanna glared harshly at him. "Okay, okay." Bradley ran a hand over his face rubbing the sleep out of his eyes before he pulled the covers off. As he got dressed, Evanna trotted down the steps to make sandwiches for the beach and breakfast to eat before they go.

The woman was thankful Bradley hadn't yet checked the time because she knew if it was any time before nine, he was going to be mad. "Evanna!" Bradley exclaimed to the laughing woman. "Seven-thirty? Really?"

"Really." She knew he wouldn't be all that mad because they hadn't yet done their traditionally trip to the beach each end of the week spent at TOPGUN to 'refresh' their mind, bodies, and souls, at least that is what Evanna claims every time her father insists, she spend time at home. I'm as safe as can be with Bradley following me like a lost puppy. To which Bradley would glower at her yet remained silent.

"I'll show you," Bradley grumbled as he chased her around the countertop in the kitchen. Her squeals of laughter overtook the silence of the house.

Bradley huffed in exhaustion and turned to exit the door. As soon as Evanna stopped laughing, Bradley slid across the table to land behind the woman. He threw her over his shoulder and marched out the door, picking up their cooler on the way out.

Evanna pounded on his back, whining, "Bradley, let me down!" She got ignored.

"Bradley!"

Silence.

"Bradley, love."

Still nothing. She contemplated her options.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," she sang.

Evanna punched his left buttcheek.
