"Robin I'm not having this conversation with you." Steve threw his hands up in the air. He just dropped Nancy off at her house and Robin made her way to the front seat. She kept going on about Steve's neighbor that seem to have him in a trance throughout the whole day.

"It's not a big deal, you're ruining the opportunity of us having a new friend." Robin crossed her arms in a playful angry way. She rolled the window down letting the harsh air come into the car.

"Us? What do you mean? And roll the window back up it's freezing." Steve pointed the window like a parent. Robin rolled her eyes as she pushed the button to let the window back up.

"Sorry, you're ruining your chance of having a new friend then introducing him to me and Nancy. Also there's no way you're freezing when earlier you were getting hot and bothered in the cafeteria." Robin said while laughing at Steve's flustered expression.

"First of all I was not hot and bothered, second of all you sound like my parents telling me he could be a new friend." Steve wanted the first interaction to be a good one and not weird or lame.

"Whatever Steve it's your life and if you choose to hide from your neighbor for the rest of it then go ahead." Robin turned her body towards the window and avoided looking at Steve completely. He sighed deeply as he drove close to the sidewalk where her house was. She closed the door without saying anything to Steve which wasn't something she ever did.

Steve was alone with his thoughts on the way home. His bubble was slowly starting to pop without any warning. Maybe this was a good thing for him and he shouldn't feel weird about it. Right?

The driveway was empty when Steve got home meaning that his parents were already at work. He loved having a big house but it was at times like these that he wished someone was there with him. That's when he started thinking about his neighbor again. Would he be into the same things that Steve was into. Was hanging out even an option?

Steve jumped when he heard a knock at the door. He walked towards the door bracing himself for whoever it was. When he opened door everything went blank for Steve.

In front of him was the last person he expected to see. His neighbor had all his curly hair placed nicely on his shoulders, this time he wore a leather jacket that Steve's only seen in movies. He wore the same rings that he saw earlier and was tapping the side of the door.

"Are you alright?" His voice was low and calming. Steve didn't process anything that was going on in front of him. He didn't realize that he was just standing there staring at this poor soul.

"I-I'm sorry... what?" Steve felt a weird feeling his stomach when he heard him laugh. He tried to laugh a long but he was not convincing at all.

"I just stopped by to introduce myself, I'm Eddie Munson." Eddie put his hand out for Steve to shake it. Steve hesitated shaking his hand, Eddie swiftly took Steve's hand and gave a firm shake. Shocked wasn't the word that described Steve in this moment.

"My uncle put me up to this, I'm doing this to everybody in the neighborhood. I never got your name?" Eddie didn't realize that he lifted a huge weight off of Steve's shoulders. Steve imagined a crazy scenario where Eddie would propose a friendship to him as if it was medieval times. Steve mentally scolded himself for thinking of the stupidest thing right now.

"I'm Steve Harrington. I promise I'm not this awkward all the time." Steve said looking at his own feet. He could feel Eddie looking at him before he finally said something.

"I guess we'll have to see, won't we?" Eddie smirked when Steve looked at him with a red face. Steve felt a shiver down his body, the way Eddie's voice sounded almost seductive wasn't good for the weak. Not saying that Steve was one of those people, it was just a thought.

"Well I'll be on my way, see ya around Harrington." Eddie said before walking away from Steve's house. Steve ran a hand through his hair as he took in everything that just happened.

Overall Steve didn't feel like Eddie was a bad guy or anything else he assumed about him in that short period of time. Steve wondered what else his new neighbor would bring into his life.
