Yes, we’re Christians because we follow Christ. We believed that Christ died, was buried and resurrected for our sins. For who is in Christ is a new creation, the old gone and the new has come.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes we're far off made nigh by the blood of Christ(Ephesians 2: 13).
He will never leave thee nor forsake thee.
Let’s not debate but rightly divide the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15).
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Study the Word of God. Meditate in His Words.
