I am also reluctant to visit my mother’s grave but not because I am afraid of the finality of a farewell, it is because I have no time and money to do so.
Talking about death, do you know that death is the penalty of sin?
Yes, that’s right. We die because of sin. You see, God made the world, us to live in relationship with God. But because of our mistakes, we disobeyed God when we try to do things our way, and because God is holy, our relationship with God broke apart. We run away from God because we love our sins. But because God is love, He sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die on our stead. We are doomed to hell but God doesn't want us to end up there, so Jesus took our sins upon Himself to die a cruel death on the cross of calvary. Though He was buried then, when it was the third day, He rose again, Victor over death and hell.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ that He died on the cross, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures, and you shall be saved.
The same manner also that I can say that I am happy even my mother’s passing for I know shel
ended up in heaven. Though I cannot busy her grave because I’ve been away from my hometown and I rarely visit there and I do not have money to travel on the cemetery. Besides, I can’t hear her, nor see her, nor play with her, so why bother. It’s only the dead body in there, her soul and spirit is with the Lord. Knowing that, am glad beyond measure for I know that I would be with her and most specially with the Lord. The Creator of all the wondrous things you witness in, under, above of earth. If you have any questions, better ask away. God bless!
